1 COUNTY OF MARQUETTE SHERIFF S OFFICE SPECIFICATION # SSV Specifications for: (1) Chevrolet Tahoe Police (SSV) 5W4, four-door, four wheel drive, full size SUV 2018 CURRENT NEW - STANDARD FACTORY EQUIPPED (OPTIONS) SPECIFICATION The vehicle is to be factory equipped with the following items, unless dealer installation is herein permitted: Meets Specifications AIR BAGS Vehicle to be equipped with driver and right front passenger side air bag passive restraint system. AIR CONDITIONING System must be designed to prevent component damage due to high speed driving. HIGH OUTPUT ALTERNATOR (KW7) Largest amp available.. ANTIFREEZE To be equipped with antifreeze protection to -35 degrees F minimum. AUXILIARY BATTERY (K4B) 12 volt, 730 cold ranking amps. 1

2 BRAKES Vehicle to be equipped with power assisted, anti-lock brake system, four wheel disc preferred. CIGARETTE LIGHTER To be located on instrument panel, wired independent of ignition system. Standard extra outlets permissible. COOLING SYSTEM Vehicle to have maximum size cooling system available, incorporating coolant recovery system. CRUISE/SPEED CONTROL Standard factory equipped cruise control to be provided. DIFFERENTIAL Heavy duty, Locking, rear. Engine to be V-8. ENGINE FLOOR MAT Full floor covering, heavy-duty rubber or vinyl, front and rear. Removable fitted floor mats in addition to full floor covering Required (Dealer Installation permitted.) FLASHER SYSTEM, (Headlamp and Tail Lamp) (6J7) DRL Compatible, Headlamp flasher module with control wire and body control module rear lamp flashing. GAUGES Gauge cluster, water temperature, voltmeter, oil pressure, fuel level and trip odometer. AUXILIARY DOME LIGHT (6C7) Lightning red and white dome light. 2

REMOTE VEHICLE START (BTV) Equipped with a remote vehicle starting system. SPLASH GUARDS/ASSIST STEPS (VQK) Factory equipped with front and rear wheel well splash guards and Assist steps. PAINT COLOR Manufacturer s standard BLACK as approved by the Marquette County Sheriff s Office. RADIO Vehicle shall be equipped with standard electronic AM/FM radio, digital clock and standard radio speakers. 3

SEAT ASSEMBLY, FRONT/REAR (A95) with option (D07) Floor Console Both seats to have heavy-duty interior construction designed for rugged police use, comfortable foam-padded seat cushions and backs. Rear seat to be vinyl, front seat to be cloth. SEAT BELTS Driver and right front passenger shoulder belt assembly to incorporate tension reliever and automatic release mechanism. If seat belt assembly is integral part of door, separate lap belt, independent of door, will be required. SKID PLATE PACKAGE (NZZ) Vehicle equipped with factory installed skid plate protection. SPARE TIRE Full size spare tire and wheel. STEERING WHEEL Tilt type steering wheel required. Round with anti-slip surface. SUSPENSION SYSTEM (Heavy Duty) WIRING (6J3) To be equipped with wiring for grille lamps and siren speakers. WHEELS (PZX) TIRE OPTION 18 ALUMINUM high polished finish with Goodyear Wrangler. 4
