3 3-4 Exterior The CR-V has a distinct presence The CR-V s powerful, functional shape is enhanced by its bold, dynamic grille, sleek integrated headlights, LED Daytime Running Lights and smart alloys. The dramatic window design offers superb allround visibility, making it easy to see out of and a pleasure to be seen in, wherever your journey takes you. The CR-V s fluid lines and bold, distinctive look have been carefully considered to enhance design and assist performance. The curved edges of the door mirrors harmonise with the overall design, as well as reducing blind spots around the car. Even the parking sensors have been designed to blend seamlessly into the front and rear bumpers, ensuring a clean, refined look from every angle.

4 Interior Developed with comfort and adaptability in mind An intelligent touch screen display The CR-V is designed for maximum space and flexibility. Our engineers started at the front, creating more legroom for the driver and front passenger and increased all-round visibility, making you feel more comfortable and confident when driving. The rear seats, coupled with a reclining backrest and curved door linings, create more room for your passengers to relax in. The final result is an open and highly adaptable space that allows everyone to arrive refreshed, no matter how long or short the journey. The CR-V now has touch screen display audio which can be paired with a Smartphone to access music and contacts. Its colour screen is centrally placed in the instrument panel for easy viewing, while all of its functions can be effortlessly controlled from the steering wheel. The CR-V s updated audio system is linked to four speakers and two tweeters for crisp, clear sound all around you. All audio functions, including a Hands Free Telephone (HFT) system and ipod connection can be operated through the 7-inch touch screen. SPEAKER SYSTEM* A total of four speakers with two additional tweeters complement the audio system perfectly. ECON In addition, the ECON button helps achieve maximum fuel efficiency in real-world driving situations. 5 MOTION ADAPTIVE-EPS Safety 7-8 REAR CAMERA Parking s easy when you can see everything behind you, all thanks to the smart rear parking camera. WHIPLASH MITIGATION FRONT SEATS In the event of a collision, the seatback springs are optimised so that the seat will absorb the occupant s impact more equally, and in a manner that can minimise the severity of a whiplash injury. Motion Adaptive-Electric Power Steering (MA-EPS) is a new piece of technology that works closely with Vehicle Stability Assist; in the case of oversteer (typical on wet or slippery roads), it increases the effort needed to add steering to the inside of the curve and lightens effort to counter steer in the opposite direction, at the same time applying the brakes to the outside wheels only. In other words, it helps you drive correctly, and naturally, out of the situation while in complete control. HEADLIGHT AUTO-OFF TIMER Sometimes known as coming home lights, this system allows you to let your headlights stay on for up to 15 seconds after you have turned off the engine, lighting your way as you leave the CR-V. Your safety comes first A great deal of complex engineering is at work in the new CR-V, keeping you and your passengers safe. Honda is committed to building the very best safety features, most of which come as standard across all grades. ACTIVE CORNERING LIGHTS (ACL) The earlier you see changes in the road ahead, the quicker you can react to them, especially on dark or poorly lit roads. The Active Cornering Light illuminates the turn you are about to take, from the moment you indicate or turn the steering wheel. SRS AIRBAGS FRONT AND REAR PARKING SENSORS These sensors produce an audible signal when near an object, so you can swing confidently into the tightest of parking spots. HILL START ASSIST (HSA) Hill Start Assist (HSA) prevents roll back when starting on an incline. Using a slope sensor, the brake pressure is controlled, keeping the car stationary for 1½ seconds after you release the brake pedal. For maximum protection, the driver s airbag uses a two-stage inflator allowing the timing and force of deployment to vary according to severity of impact. Side curtain airbags protect the driver and passengers in the front and back in the case of a side-on collision, while the front head restraints move to reduce whiplash injury, working in conjunction with the 3-point Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR) seatbelts. It constantly monitors the gap ahead and controls the distance by automatically adjusting the throttle, or braking if the gap closes. Should the vehicle ahead increase its distance again, the ACC system brings you back to your pre-set speed. Primary warning: When there s a risk of collision ahead, or the distance between the two vehicles is too short, the alarm sounds and the word BRAKE appears on the i-mid (intelligent Multi-Information Display). This alerts the driver to take action in order to avoid a collision. Secondary warning: If the distance between the two vehicles continues to decrease, CMBS applies light braking and the seatbelt E-pretensioners in the driver s side gently pull two or three times. At this point the E-pretensioners pull the seatbelts with enough force to properly restrain you and your front passenger, giving you time to react and avoid a collision. LANE KEEPING ASSIST SYSTEM (LKAS)* LKAS constantly senses the line marking on the road. It emits an audible warning if the vehicle drifts off course and automatically corrects the steering to get you back on track, helping you to stay in your lane safely. COLLISION MITIGATION BRAKING SYSTEM (CMBS)* The CMBS assists your braking by automatically applying an appropriate amount of braking force to help you avoid or minimise the chances of hitting a vehicle ahead of you in traffic. It helps to detect when a frontal collision is imminent. CMBS works in conjunction with the seatbelt, giving visual and audio warnings for the driver to take preventative action. It can also initiate braking to reduce vehicle speed. Third warning: At this stage, there s a chance that a collision will occur. The CMBS system starts emergency braking and activates the brake assist function to reduce speed. At the same time the seatbelt tightens to reduce the impact of the collision on the driver and front passenger. For more information on grades refer to pages
