11 Percentage points Percentage points Changes in from Mainland China by Province and Municipality June 212 vs May 212 (MOM) June 212 vs June 211 (YOY) Guangdong Fujian Zhejiang Hunan Shanghai Beijing Chongqing Tianjin Q2 212 vs Q1 212 (QOQ) Q2 212 vs Q2 211 (YOY) Guangdong Fujian Zhejiang Hunan Shanghai Beijing Chongqing Tianjin The majority (7%) of Macau visitors comes from the nearby province of Guangdong. In June, the visitor numbers have decreased to 588,987 which is a fall of around 4.5% MOM and 4.7% YOY. Fujian has the second highest number of visitors, standing at 54,543. However, there has been 7% less visitors from Fujian MOM and nearly 2% YOY. Quarterly, this is around 14% QOQ and 16% YOY. We note the substantial rise in the number of visitors from Tianjin. In June 212, there have been 12,773 visitors entering Macau from Tianjin which makes up of only around 1% of the total number of visitors. It is to be highlighted that this only contributes to a small proportion of visitors to Macau, so any increase is reflected to be significant. Nevertheless, there has been 4% rise MOM and 127% rise YOY. This substantial increase in the number of visitors from Tianjin is also reflected in the quarterly data. In Q2, the statistics increased over 72% from the same quarter last year, despite a miniscule drop from Q1 this year.
