The available E-shift eradicates traditional shift linkages, which helps the engine operate in its optimum range, resulting in smoother, faster, more efficient performance and an improvement in standard fuel efficiency. There s also an 11 percent emissions reduction, nearly imperceptible gear changes, impressive acceleration and transmission efficiency, especially in cold environments or at vehicle start-up. Two shift programs are featured: a standard pattern for everyday driving and a Sport Mode for a more aggressive feel and extended shift points. Sport mode can also be used with the available die-cast steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
