It starts with a potent 3.5L V6 petrol engine that provides plenty of passing power. Add in Nissan s Xtronic CVT and the drive only gets better. The CVT holds the engine at the ideal RPM for the job, giving you a wave of power when you need it and running low rpm for quiet, efficient cruising when you don t. If ultra-efficiency is your goal, the optional hybrid^ 2.5L 4-cylinder supercharged petrol engine mated to a 15kW electric motor is the solution. This compact, torque-assist electric motor seamlessly works in tandem with the petrol engine to conserve fuel when starting-up, coasting or stopping. Plus, the lithium-ion battery recharges automatically by converting kinetic energy from the braking vehicle, so you never have to charge it brilliant! ^ST 2WD, ST-L 4WD and Ti 4WD models only. *Figures tested in accordance with ADR81/02 (combined test). Tow mode is designed to be used when the vehicle is pulling a heavy trailer or load. When accelerating or driving uphill, the Transmission Control Module (TCM) suppresses the Upshift by using gear ratio control to maintain engine RPM in a high torque range. When braking or driving downhill, the TCM helps to strengthen engine braking by controlling gear ratios to assist in controlling speed. *V6 models only. 15 NISSAN INTELLIGENT DRIVING GET AWAY WITH JUST A WARNING What if extra reassurance was easy to spot? The Pathfinder's Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies offer you a suite of advanced systems that help keep an eye out all around you, and even watch the flow of traffic. Intelligent Emergency Braking. * Using radar technology to keep an eye on your proximity to the vehicle ahead of you, Forward-collision Warning* can give you audible and visual display warnings to help you know when to reduce your speed. If required, the Intelligent Emergency Braking will apply braking to reduce vehicle speed to avoid or reduce the severity of a collision. Blind Spot Warning. * If another vehicle is detected in the blind spot area, an indicator appears in the driver s or front passenger s door pillar.
