Precise steering, combined with the latest multi-link rear suspension, ensures great handling and a comfortable ride so you can follow your sense of adventure. It also comes with a variety of powerful, agile engines. The potent yet efficient 1.6 litre GDi petrol manual 2WD delivers a power output of 133 bhp. A 1.7 litre CRDi diesel manual 2WD is also available, while the more adventurous could opt for a 134 bhp 2.0 litre CRDi diesel engine, available with either a manual or automatic transmission and an advanced torque on demand 4WD system. It works by automatically providing power to all wheels, only when driving conditions require it to, resulting in greater efficiency when compared to permanent 4WD systems. 9 EFFICIENCY Efficient technologies WE VE SPENT OUR ENERGY HELPING YOU SAVE YOURS The ix35 s efficient yet responsive engines help keep running costs down to a minimum, but there are even more clever innovations to help save fuel and reduce emissions. Blue Drive technologies will keep CO 2 emissions and fuel consumption low - but not at the expense of your enjoyment. All manual transmission models are fitted with an eco drive indicator, which shows you the best time to change gear.
