4 4 Navigation 1 Navigation COMAND APS 1 This intelligent, top of the range multimedia system puts you firmly in the driving seat. It combines not only a very sophisticated navigation system but also an advanced AV entertainment facility. Its 7" high-resolution screen provides clear route guidance, which is supported by the latest traffic congestion information delivered by the traffic message channel (TMC). This will enable you to plan journeys to avoid roadworks and incidents that could cause delays. The navigation system works throughout Europe but we recommend you regularly update the software to ensure you have the most accurate and recent information. Your local Mercedes-Benz Dealership stocks the latest map versions. The Comand APS has an impressive 4GB of memory allowing you ample space to store a varied music collection in MP3 format. You can also play audio or video DVDs. This comprehensive system is easily and safely operated via the multifunction steering wheel. 2 Navigation DVD for COMAND APS 2

5 Navigation 5 MediaNavigationCenter 3 An impressive range of functions at your fingertips! Simply tap the 6.1" touchscreen, or the multifunction steering wheel, to control either the navigation system, the handsfree Bluetooth phone module or audio/video playback. The system comes loaded with map data for 35 European countries in 18 different languages. There s also an integral TMC tuner and option for loading your own favourite destinations and points of interest (POI). The versatile entertainment system offers an MP3-compatible CD/DVD drive and handy connections in the glove compartment to enable you to listen to music or videos stored on either your iphone/ipod, or players with a USB or AUX interface (4 x 50W output). 3 4 Tachograph 4 If you re regularly towing a trailer of some kind for business, carrying nine passengers or frequently driving abroad where drivers rules are different, then it s almost certain you ll be legally required to have a tachograph fitted to your Vito. This digital version provides tamper-proof recording of speeds and rest times. The data is rapidly and easily acquired and can be electronically evaluated.

6 6 Entertainment Entertainment ipod/iphone Holder 1 A specially designed black, plastic holder that fits neatly into glove compartments and secures either ipods or iphones connected to Interface Kits. 8 8 Telephone Telephone 1 Mobile Phone Cradles 1 Until now, you would have to take your vehicle out of service each time you upgraded your mobile phone so the cradle could be changed to accommodate the new handset. Provided your Vito has been fitted with either Code EH4 or ET5 equipment, you can change mobile phone holders as easily or as frequently as you swap handsets. One click is all it takes to replace the system s intelligent phone cradle and we have holders for the major handsets; Blackberry (RIM), SonyEricsson, Siemens, Nokia and Apple. The range of holders is updated continuously to account for new mobile handsets. 9 Telephone 9 Enjoy wireless freedom with Bluetooth modules Alternatively, increase the reach of your mobile without having to put it in a designated cradle. You can leave it in your pocket or bag thus reducing the risk of forgetting to take it with you! Depending on whether you have Code EH4 or ET5 equipment fitted in your Vito you can choose between either SIM Access Profile (SAP) or Hands-Free Profile (HFP). 2 Bluetooth SAP Module 2 This module works with Code EH4 equipment and is easily controlled by the multifunction steering wheel, audio system or central instrument cluster. There are two versions of this module; one is a closed box, which additionally recharges the phone s battery, while the other is a corded handset. Both of these options will read the phone s SIM card. The main benefits of the SAP module are: Provides access to all contacts on SIM card Optimum reception through the vehicle s external aerial Read and receive text messages ** ** Please be aware of the laws in relation to texting whilst in control of a vehicle. A Model shown COMAND APS Bluetooth HFP Convenience Control 3 To be used in conjunction with Code ET5 equipment, this handy unit is easily operated by its buttons and display. It allows the user to display all their contact details stored on the phone, the list of calls made and received and it can be paired with up to four mobile phones (but not simultaneously, i.e. when more than one of the phones is present in the vehicle). 3

10 10 Storage Storage 1 Centre Console Storage (light grey) 1 Keep everything you need for your journey within easy reach in this versatile storage area located between the Vito s front seats. It has ample room for all sorts of items and we ve even included a handy removable nylon bag if you need to take your belongings with you. An elegant sliding shutter conceals stored goods from sight. Nets located on the side of the console storage provide extra space for documents, newspapers etc. Centre Console Extension 2 Because you can never have too much storage space, this extension for the lower front end of the centre console is designed to increase on-board capacity. It is situated underneath the radio and can serve as a tray for odds and ends or an installation slot for an additional DIN unit. 2

11 Storage Litter Bag 3 No more excuses for untidy vehicles with this hygienic 5-litre vinyl bag, which hangs conveniently from the rear of head restraints. Foldable flaps keep rubbish securely inside and when you re ready to dispose of it simply lift out the vinyl liner, leaving another in its place. Infinitely adjustable, with a timer and remote control as options. Fitted by your Mercedes-Benz Dealership. 6 This remote control makes it easy to switch the auxiliary heating on and off from a distance of up to 600m. The heating stays on for a maximum of 60 minutes after it is switched on. 6

18 18 Carrier systems Carrier systems 1 Ladder Rack 1 Safely secure and transport multiple ladders using this sturdy ladder rack. It consists of four high-angle brackets, one locking bracket and elastic cords. 2 Standard Basic Carrier Bars Increase the carrying capacity of your Vito with these easily fitted, roof-mounted, robust square bars. There are two options available: one suitable for vehicles without roof rails, and one for those with them. (A stylish Alustyle version is also available, see pages for details). 2 Bolt the bars directly into the roof channel and you ve got yourself a maximum roof load of up to 100kg. Adding a further crossbar (not pictured) increases the load capacity to 150kg. 3 For those vehicles with roof rails, these bars can be quickly and easily factory fitted to give a roof carrying capacity of up to 100kg. 19 Carrier systems 19 Cargo Rack 6 A sturdy rack (see picture below) that can be adapted to suit any Vito length (compact, long & extra long). It s the ideal way to transport various items from surfboards to kitchen units. A number of accessories are available to ease loading on and off the rack, as detailed below: 6 3 Catwalk Designed to be fixed along the centre of the cargo rack, this galvanised steel catwalk with a rugged tread is available in compact and long lengths. Loading Roller for Cargo Rack Slide bulky items onto the rack with ease and without damaging the paintwork. Only for vehicles with rear door. 4 High-standing Bracket Set 4 A safe and simple way of preventing cargo mounted on the basic carrier bars from shifting sideways. Tailgate Hinge Roller Allows you to slide items into the back of the Vito without damaging either the paint or denting the metalwork. 5 Loading Roller 5 Speed up the loading process with this hard rubber roller that enables you to slide unwieldy items easily onto the carrier bars. It helps avoid damage to the paintwork thereby maximising resale value. It uses ultrasonic technology to detect obstacles up to 1.60m behind the vehicle and alert the driver through audible signals. Trailer Coupling 2 Make light work of towing heavy loads with this robust coupling, available with detachable or fixed ball head. Both versions offer an unbraked towing capacity of 750kg, and braked towing capacity of up to 2,500kg. Must be fitted by an approved Mercedes-Benz Dealership. 3 1 Mini Adapter 3 Neat, versatile adapter designed to connect any trailer with a 7-pin plug to the 13-pin trailer coupling.

If you haven t got space for your bikes in your Vito, this lightweight rack can carry up to two cycles of virtually any model or size on the back. Although the rack is fitted to the tailgate, it can still be opened. The rack comes with statutory repeater lights, for which a rear power supply is required see Mini adapter. 24 24 Load compartment Load compartment 1 Luggage Net 1 Stop parcels or goods falling out the back of your Vito when you open the tailgate quickly with this durable, full-width net. Pockets in the net allow you to safely stow smaller items. Load Compartment Tub Protect your vehicle s load compartment from liquids, dirt and scratches. The easy-clean tray fits neatly into the rear of either the long or extra long Vito and is available in two different depths dependent on model. 25 load compartment Protective Door and Load Sill Film 4 If you re expecting a lot of foot traffic in and out of your Vito you can reduce impact to the paintwork around the doors with this transparent adhesive film made of high-strength plastic. It s easy to affix and virtually invisible when in place. Pack includes a pair of film strips. Protective Load Sill Guard 5 The load sill of any van takes quite a beating with loading and unloading. This strong black film with chrome fin design and polyurethane coating protects this much-used area from scratches, as well as adding a touch of individuality. Multipurpose Box 2 This practical, waterproof, collapsible box is ideal for carrying shopping, business supplies or a host of other transportation tasks. Maximum capacity: 30kg Clamping Strap 3 Stop loads from shifting in the cargo bay with this strap that comes complete with standard fastener and two stitched-in load-securing rings.
