Vehicles are to be purchased exactly as they appear at auction. They will be sold based on their appearance only. As Is is a disclaimer of warranties or representations. Where Is denotes that the buyer takes the vehicle as found and must remove it from the point of sale. ELIGIBILITY OF BIDDERS: Bidders must be at least 18 years of age. The following persons shall be prohibited from purchasing property through the U.S. Department of Justice Asset Forfeiture Program and are also, therefore, barred from placing bids to buy such property:

3 U.S. Department of Justice employees, including U.S. Marshals Service employees, as further restricted below; Employees of the Asset Forfeiture Division, U.S. Marshals Service, and other U.S. Marshals Service employees directly involved with the Asset Forfeiture Program, and their immediate family members, defined as any persons residing in the same house hold as the employee, whether or not related by blood or marriage, spouses, parents, parents-in-law, grandparents, siblings, aunts and uncles, first cousins, and all their spouses; Employees of any state or local governmental agency who, directly or indirectly, perform duties associated with the seizure and forfeiture of property by the U.S. Department of Justice, and/or which participates in the U.S. Department of Justice Equitable Sharing Program; Contractors, sub-contractors and the employees or contractors and sub-contractors of the Asset Forfeiture Division, U.S. Marshals Service, who provide contract / management services for personal and real properties and complex assets; Anyone acting in concert with or on behalf of any of the above persons. REMOVAL OF PURCHASED PROPERTY: Purchased vehicles must be removed from KCI Kansas City s premises within 24 hours; KCI Kansas City not responsible for vehicles left on premises. BIDDING: A 6% buyer fee will be applied to the purchase price of each vehicle. Phone bids will be accepted day of sale. To place phone bids, please call the following numbers or DISPOSAL VIA SALE: The USMS will supply a Standard Form 97 (U.S. Government Certificate to Obtain Title) for each vehicle sold. The auction is responsible for completion of the SF-97 on the day of the auction. The SF-97 shall be issued to the purchaser upon full payment of the vehicle. KCI Kansas City will be not be responsible for registering a vehicle with the Department of Motor Vehicles. KCI Kansas City shall issue a receipt to the purchaser(s) for money received, which will indicate the purchaser s name, vehicle selling price, and a description of the vehicle including the VIN.
