Due to mid-year changes, other pricing lists exist. Production quantities from "Tailfins & Bowties", copyright 1990, Len Williamson, ISBN , with permission from the author. Production totals are listed as "US Plants" only. It doesn't appear that vehicle assemblies at foreign plants are fully included in these totals. Production data is only available for ordering options. Options generally required for certain markets, like V48 HD anti-freeze used in Canadian orders, were not logged by GM. There are significant disconnects in engine production versus vehicle production involving Z28 in 67 and ZL1/L72 in 69. It is possible that 67 Z28 was recorded by the factory as 327 production, and ZL1/L72 as 396 (L35?) production. The L89 is assumed to be a head option with L78 required - otherwise there would be an additional disconnect.
