4 UDG sewage fittings PVC-U Product Specifications Sewage pipes and fittings Pipes and fittings are made of PVC-U for non-pressure underground drainage and sewage applications. Nominal ring stiffness and standard dimension ratio must be as specified in the present technical handbook, reaches conform to EN 1401 and certified by a qualified certification body. Product range goes from 110 up to 630, manufactured in compliance with EN1401 norm. Push-fit jointing system (spigot/socket) with sealing lip-rings. The gaskets are conform to EN681-1 and certified by a qualified certification body. Basic marking for fittings : - Manufacturer s name - Quality Mark by third part certification (such as IIP, MPA etc) - EN Application area code ( U or UD ) - Nominal size - Nominal angle - Nominal ring stiffness or SDR Supplier s Quality system has to be ISO 9001:2008 certified, supplier s Environment system has to be ISO 14001:2004 certified as a condition for purchase. - Optimal water seal (min. 3/10 diameter ratio) to prevent the passage of sewer gas - 2 rodding access screw caps - Blank vents inlets for the relief of sewer gases, admission of oxygen for aerobic sewage digestion and maintenance of the trap water seal. Inspection Chambers (PVC-U or PP) Injected molded non return valve made of PVC-U or PP designed for connections to piping systems conform to EN1401. Rubber ring jointing type (Elastomeric ring seal joints conform to EN681-1 and DIN4060). The semi-circular smooth chamber base is allowing flow continuity and preventing dregs sediment even at a low flow rate. The chamber base may be connected to a riser/shaft 400 (depending on the depth) terminating at ground level. The telescopic part allows the settlement that might occur after installation or adjustments of the height of the chamber. The cover shall conform to specifications (material, loading class, locking devices). Suppliers will wave to attest that they hold a ISO9001 approved quality system in place as a condition for purchase. A-N trap interceptors Injection-molded sewer traps made of PVC-U, designed for connections to piping systems conform to EN1329 and EN1401. This trap interceptor must have the following technical features: - No hand welding - SC or RR jointing type
