You last visited: Today at 09:31 AM Your Notifications: 39 BimmerPost Submissions Thread Tools Search this Thread Rate Thread Today, 09:56 AM BPMSport Servotronic Normal/Sport Steering Sensitivity Assistance Custom Mapping This is always something that I've wanted to change, given I think that the normal and sport modes in the M3 should be sl Even better is being able to variably adjust the assist based on program selection coupled with speed dependent settings. By adjusting these maps, the assist can be changed from zero to full assist at any speed between 0km/h and 200km/h. Th rescaled to accommodate specific changes above 200km/h, however, this is not necessary. We will likely be offering these changes free of charge to all existing BPMSport customers after testing has been completed For now I wanted to share a graphical representation of the different assist offered by the servotronic steering system: Normal vs Sport Compared: X Axis = Speed, Y Axis = Amount of Assist. Your comments and suggestions on this are appreciated. We're happy to post Normal and Sport as individual graphs for you to take a look.

So right now the normal mode provides assist up to 200 km/h, and sport stops providing assist at 140km/h. We will thoroughly test the changes and provide different packages based on the results of the testing. I'm going to hear "It should have came this way" in the future

(comparing to stock sport mode steering?) Its too bad as it is at the high speeds where it would be nice to be heavier but if there is no assist above 140 I guess that is as heavy as it gets lol This would be great. I would love a heavier steering feel at 60mph-90mph so this seems like it would fit the bill Possible to change it after 140 as well. That's just the main characteristic curve for normal and sport- there are other factors/maps that can have a multiplicative effect on what's posted above.
