The Unique diffuser construction provides excellent ceiling effect, particularly suitable to variable volue applications where horizontal throws are required. Construction: Extruded aluiniu continuous or discrete length linear slot diffusers. Utilising standard CSD 19 or 25 construction coponents and optional ounting frae in conjunction with a specifically designed fixed pattern profile extrusion. Features: Excellent aesthetics, with specifically designed profile. Bi-directional (can be factory assebled for left and/or right hand throws). Particularly suited to variable air volue applications and ideal for perieter supply in ajor coercial buildings. The unique die cast clip attaches to the pattern blades to provide CSD with a theral control, enabling energy savings to be ade and iproveents in roo cofort levels. Above 24 Degrees C the CSD-T starts to ove the pattern position, providing vertical airflow. On Multi-Slot diffusers CSD-T is required on the first slot only. Discuss with your local Holyoake branch other options available. Construction: Extruded aluiniu continuous or discrete length linear slot diffusers. Utilising Standard CSD coponents and ounting frae, with a specifically designed die cast clip containing a teperature sensitive alloy, for theral adjustent of the pattern blades. TYPE F Flange End TYPE S Stop End Stop End - Type S is used where the diffuser terinates at a wall or partition. (These are recessed to accoodate CSD-MF Mounting Frae.) 7 CSD Mounting Frae Series CSD-MF CSDAI ADAPTER CSD-MF Mounting Frae Clips To Secure Linear Diffuser Into Mounting Frae CSD Continuous Linear Diffuser Plaster Ceiling Metal Frae Construction Depicted Valid Also For Tiber Frae. Patent Pending The CSD ounting frae (CSD-MF) is a base frae which is designed to be built into a solid ceiling. Once the frae has been installed the CSD is then inserted into this ounting frae to coplete the installation. The CSD-MF offers a vastly iproved alternative to the standard ethod of CSD installation. This syste will not only save tie for all of the contractors involved (HVAC, ceiling erectors, plasterers etc.) but will also give a uch higher standard of finish than was typically able to be achieved. Norally ceiling slot diffusers are one of the ost difficult supply diffusers to install into a solid ceiling. During the process of installa tion it is not uncoon for both the plasterer and the painter to have to carry out reedial work to ensure a reasonable standard of finish is achieved. All of this work is obviously detriental as it takes tie and often daages the linear diffuser and contributes to the poor overall appearance of the CSD. The CSD-MF is installed as part of the solid ceiling grid syste. This allows the supply air boots to be installed when there is clear access to the ceiling space and there is no danger of daaging the high quality finish of the CSD. When it is tie to line the ceiling the ceiling erector has a slot to CSD-MF Mounting Frae Ceiling Batten slide the gib or plaster sheet into. Once the plasterer has stopped the ceiling sheets the painter is free to paint the entire ceiling without having to be concerned with asking the CSD which is not yet in place. When everything has been finished to the required standard the CSD itself is just siply pushed up into place to copletely conceal the ounting frae. The CSD-MF has any features designed into it to enable a faultless CSD installation. The ounting frae is equipped with a flexible edge which is fastened to the adjacent steel or wooden ceiling battens, whichever is used. This flexible edge allows for any discrepancies in the ceiling itself. If the flexible edge does not take up any discrepancies in the ceiling the solid ain section of the frae reains rigid to provide an accurate slot for CSD. The frae is also designed to accept the gib or plaster sheet accurately, however if there were discrepancies the plasterer can plaster out those discrepancies. With all these features the use of the CSD-MF will not only save tie in installing the CSD but will also result in a uch higher standard of finish for the installation. Vertical throw units have been independently tested to 500kg concentrated load on an area of (1 square inch) at the centre. Deflection under load is 0.66 and there is no peranent deflection. Units are also available with 15 air divergence left, centre 0 and 15 right, in equal sections, to provide a wider spread of discharge air, and a reduction of approxiately 20% of rated throw. 38 Series PMF Linear Diffusers The Holyoake Flangeless Grille Series - PMF, has been developed to keep pace with conteporary interior designs. The Series PMF is versatile and can be used with all LD Series Linear Bar Grilles. Designed for sidewall applications* the Grille Series PMF offers a new approach to interior air supply/return. For supply and return applications, the Holyoake Series PMF Flangeless Frae Grilles are the least intrusive sidewall supply or return air product on the arket. Fraing Flangeless Grille Series Plenu / Duct Construction Constructed fro extruded aluiniu to precise Holyoake quality standards, the Holyoake PMF Plaster Mounting Frae akes flangeless grille installation easy and provides a superior finish. Flangeless Linear Grille Acoustic Insulation Installation The PMF plaster ounting frae negates the need for any costly additional aperture fraing or nogging and is fitted into the wall or bulkhead cavity prior to the wall lining being applied. The PMF ounting frae can be fitted using rivets, nails, or adhesive, although drive or Tek screws are the ost efficient ethod. A series of grooves in the ounting frae are provided to prevent screw run-off. Once the wall lining is in place, the applicator can stop and finish the wall opening up to the PMF frae edge and prepare the surface for paint finishes. The Series - PMF Flangeless Grille need only be fitted to the coplete and finished wall by pushing the grille into the ounting frae firly, the retaining clip will grip the serrations in the frae and pull the grille up neatly to the wall surface. * Also suitable for ceiling or floor ounting, with appropriate construction.
