3 COMPANY INFORMATION Started in 1973, Interstate expanded rapidly and now represents a group of five companies and had developed its own unique product range. The company s successful execution of its unique marketing strategy has produced units sales growth that has consistently outpaced that of the replacement tire industry. With European technology and Asian production, Interstate stands for high quality and consistent supply. Interstate has been co-operating with world leaders in the development of advanced technology in the design and production of tires. Even before a tire is build and tested at the Interstate test facilities, engineers examine it using revolutionary computer analysis. The Interstate Tires are being produced in Asia, with the newest technologies, compounds and tread patterns. All tires are first quality and are E-marked, ISO certified, ETRTO, TüV, GSO, INEN, LATU and DOT approved. 3

4 Summer Program INTERSTATE ECO TOUR PLUS The tyre meets the challenging and previously contradictory objective of combining top-class wet safety with reduced rolling resistance, leading to higher fuel efficiency and lower CO2 emissions. Interstate has accomplished this breakthrough through the development of materials and technology called I-ECO programs combined with a new non-directional tread design. I-ECO produces a lower rolling resistance coefficient by reducing energy loss in the top compound during rotation. The new non-directional tread design features a connected block and thin rib, which enhances contact pressure and wet braking performance. The ECO Tour Plus has a 13,4% improved rolling resistance which makes it, on an average, 2,8% more fuel efficient and achieves a reduction of 2,9% in CO2 output. INTERSTATE IST-30 This value for money touring tyre is designed for smaller cars with quiet riding and relatively low fuel consumption. The Random pitch tread blocks are staggered to break up the pattern noise for comfortable riding. The enhanced shoulder design results in better traction in dry and wet roads. INTERSTATE IST-32 A modern three rib pattern provides stable on center feel and handling, while the four wide circumferential V-grooves enhances water drainage without impacting cornering grip The IST-32 has special tread compound to provide increased tread life. INTERSTATE TOURING IST-1 The Touring is a modern directional passenger car tire, available in all popular OE sizes. The directional pattern is designed to disperse water from the heart of the contact patch to help prevent aquaplaning in wet weather conditions, as well as cornering stability. It is made by special tri-polymer silica tread compound for optimize wet and dry grip and exceptional handling in these conditions. All tread elements are sequentially positioned for optimum reduction in noise generation. The Touring is available in T,H and V speed ratings. INTERSTATE SPORT IXT - 1 The Sport IXT - 1 is an Ultra High performance tire for enthusiastic drivers. It provides incredible road holding in al conditions, especially in wet, thanks to the special performance compound and tread pattern. In addition, the V-shaped grooves in the tread pump water away and allow the rubber to grip on the road. Other features such as the newly designed and patented flange protector protects alloy rims from accidental curb damage. The central rib of the tread pattern provides directional stability and rapid steering response. Also, the shoulder blocks are designed for maximum lateral stability and sweeping elements promote excellent wet and dry handling characteristics. These blocks are bounded by circumferential groves which allows the tire to give you a better grip while being quieter and longer lasting as well. Whilst practical, these design elements also make the tire looks spectacular on every car. The Sport IXT-1 is available in sizes from 14 to 20-inch (V,W and Y speed ratings) 4

10 INTERSTATE RUN ON FLAT INTERSTATE RUN ON FLAT The new Interstate ECO Run-Flat tyre is based on a reinforced and self-supporting sidewall. The Interstate ECO Run-Flat enables the car to continue on its way at a maximum speed of 80 km/h up to 80 kilometers, depending on road conditions and vehicle. 11 TUV Test RDW Test Tyre Labelling Information Fuel Efficiency Class 7 classes from G (least efficient) to A (most efficient) Effect may vary among vehicles and driving conditions, but the difference between a G and an A class for a complete set of tyres could reduce fuel consumption by up to 7.5 %* and even more in case of trucks. Wet Grip Class 7 classes from G (longest braking distances) to A (shortest braking distances) Effect may vary among vehicles and driving conditions, but in the case of full braking, the difference between a G and an A class for a set of four identical tyres could be up to 30% shorter braking distance (e.g. for a typical passenger car driving at 80 km/h speed this could be up to 18m shorter braking distance)*. Tyre External Rolling Noise Class In addition to the noise value in Decibel db(a) a pictogram displays whether the tyre external rolling noise performance is above the future European mandatory limit value (3 black bars= noisier tyre), between the future limit value and 3dB below (2 black bars= average tyre) or more than 3 db below the future limit value (1 black bar = low noise tyre). NB: The tyre external rolling noise is not entirely correlated to vehicle interior noise.
