A special feature is the modular concept in two construction sizes for mounting heights of between 6 and 20 metres, and also featuring a highly innovative inner life. The construction principle is a guaranteed future. The luminaire has been designed so that modules and electronic control gear can be simply upgraded in the future. The housing on the other hand is so robust that it easily withstands challenging industrial surroundings. Flexibility for industrial applications The NJ700 is available in two different construction sizes with differing beam characteristics (wide/ narrow distribution, asymmetrical distribution). The luminaire is mounted with a ceiling bracket or via chain suspension, and simple handling saves both time and money.

Innovation for generations The NJ700 is already thinking of tomorrow, because if even higher-performance modules and control gear come onto the market these can be easily integrated. This means that the inherent value of the luminaire is maintained and operation becomes increasingly efficient. Systematic fitness for the future is ensured thanks to upgrades, and with the modular construction of the NJ700 this functions with just a few components and flicks of the wrist. The luminaire is also equipped with a DALI interface, and can be integrated in external light management systems. That means further savings potential via three control options: light management depending on motion and daylight as well as luminous flux tracking.

This is true for installation but also for possible upgrades to future generations. Replacing the module Three components only: release the screws and remove the housing cover with panel and sealing. Then remove the reflector. The module can now be replaced. Replacing the electronic control gear Two components only: release the screws on the E-box and remove the cover including sealing. The control unit on the inside can then be replaced. Did you know? High reliability in the roughest conditions Heat, cold, vibration the NJ700 easily stands up to a wide diversity of operating environments in the industrial sector. The luminaire features a resilient diecast aluminium outdoor luminaire housing with IP66 protection rating and a cover of toughened safety glass, as well as high impact resistance (IK08) and two fixing brackets of steel for a wide diversity of mounting requirements that also withstands strong vibrations. Ideal for high halls, and made for extreme situations such as heavy industry, protected outdoor areas and even deep freezes. The start temperature of the luminaire is -30 C, and at the same time the NJ700 also copes admirably with heat. Service life is an impressive up to 50,000 hours with ambient temperatures of up to +45 C.

Due to age-related decrease in luminous flux, levels of illuminance must be over-planned in order to emit the required levels of illuminance at the end of a maintenance interval. With luminous flux tracking, the reduction in luminous flux is compensated for at all times, power consumption is reduced via dimming and the level of illuminance remains almost constant. The luminaire detects via a sensor if people are in a specific area, and then switches automatically from strongly dimmed orientation lighting to the required work lighting level. When these people leave the area, the luminaire switches back to its dimmed state. Daylight entering the space is used for lighting purposes. To ensure the required illuminance, the required quantity of artificial light is automatically supplemented when necessary, but only when people are in the space. Modern light management The small construction size of the NJ700 has one DALI address as standard, and the variant with large lumen packages has two DALI addresses that can be flexibly controlled. Fundamentally, three types of light control are possible: luminous flux tracking, motion detection and daylight detection. Light completely according to needs and significantly lower operating costs.
