2 1. Company History MUN CHUEN TRANSPORT SDN BHD (formerly known as Mun Chuen Enterprise Sdn. Bhd.) was established in 1977 by Mr. Wong Thin Ching as a transport company in Kuala Terengganu. The company was well represented in East Coast areas. Kuala Lumpur Kuala Terengganu Gebeng Johor Bahru As the company grows over time, we have expanded our operations and branch offices in Kuala Lumpur, Gebeng and Johor Bahru. Since then, we have developed an outstanding reputation in the inland transportation with our own large fleet of cargo trucks to meet the ever increasing demands in the transportation industry. Today, we have geared our services all over West Malaysia and Singapore. Coupled with prudent management as well as professional and experienced employees, we are proud to announce that we are able to arrange movement of cargoes anywhere, anytime around Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore. We are also prepared to meet the future challenges by strengthening existing customers and assuming a new customer relationship. 2. Services At Mun Chuen Transport, we are committed to provide the best quality services at competitive rates for our customers. 3 In order to ensure that our customers' goods are delivered to their destination safely and promptly, we have our own Maintenance Department and also a workshop to monitor our cargo trucks closely, conduct periodic maintenance checks, and carry out servicing so as to ensure the trucks are well maintained and in good working condition at all times. Furthermore, as a responsible transport company, we engage only experienced, disciplined, dedicated and competent truck driver to deliver our customer s goods safely, and on time. All of our drivers also undergo continuous training to improve on their competency, driving skills and to promote safety awareness. 3. Transporters Beside using our own trucks, we are also having a big pool of subcontractor that enable the customer s request on the transportation needs to be fulfilled. The types of cargo currently delivered by us ranging from building material (such as steel bars, cement, piles, IBS segments, timber, roofing, floor tiles, etc.) to consumer goods (such as beverages, cooking oils, mineral waters, etc.). 4 4. Company, Organization Chart Mun Chuen Transport has a total of 42 employees in the company. The company s Managing Director (MD) has more than 20 years experience in the transport industry.
