2 Description The Stormwater Management and Road Tunnel (SMART) is an avant-garde and cost-effective solution that addresses two evident issues in Kuala Lumpur Central Business District major flooding caused by heavy downpour during the monsoon seasons and severe traffic congestion along city streets during peak hours. MMC-Gamuda has been appointed as the turnkey contractor cum concessionaire for the project. Objective The aim of the conference is to share technical knowledge and experience gained from this major and unique tunnel project in Malaysia. Language English will be used for the conference and conference materials. Fee will not be refunded for any cancellation. However, substitution of participants can be arranged by informing the ACEM secretariat at least one week before the conference commences.
