13 Transparency sharing with the Nation 25 Aug 2017 KUALA LUMPUR: Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas), which posted a stellar performance in the second quarter thanks to higher oil prices, will pay an additional RM3bil dividend to the government. Group chief executive officer Datuk Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin said Petronas would pay additional RM3bil dividend to the government on top of RM13bil dividend commitment this year following to improved earnings. 18 ABC Manual The PETRONAS Group has adopted a zero tolerance policy against all forms of bribery and corruption. The PETRONAS Code of Conduct and Business Ethics (CoBE) sets out PETRONAS core principles in this regard. The PETRONAS Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy and Guidelines (hereinafter referred to as the ABC Manual ) elaborate upon those principles, providing guidance to employees concerning how to deal with improper solicitation, bribery and other corrupt activities and issues that may arise in the course of business. It is also intended to apply to every director (executive and nonexecutive) except as otherwise stated in this Policy and Guidelines. Joint venture companies in which PETRONAS is a noncontrolling co-venturer and associated companies are encouraged to adopt similar principles and standards. PETRONAS also expects that contractors, subcontractors, consultants, agents, representatives and others performing work or services for or on behalf of PETRONAS will comply with the relevant parts of the ABC Manual when performing such work or services.
