Reverse Sensor The facelift of Hino 300 Series is enhanced with reverse sensor which basically assist driver to park and manoeuvre the vehicle effortlessly in any situation and prevent accident during parking. It also help driver to avoid objects while moving in reverse so they can be aware of every objects that is out of their vision, hence, prevent any unnecessary crash and unwanted costs. Interior Facelift Other than safety upgrade, Hino also enhance their new LCV image with door visor that can help to prevent the condensation of water vapour inside the truck windscreen. The new LCV comes with new front grille and paint, giving it a new fresh look.

2 What's on the News Giga Shipping receives HINO Truck Carrier, the 1 st in Malaysia 6 th October 2016, Negeri Sembilan: Hino Motors Sales (M) Sdn Bhd HMSM recently announced the handover of 2units HINO truck carrier to Giga Shipping Sdn. Bhd (GIGA). HINO truck carrier model SG2PDPA was selected because of its proven performance in the history of GIGA operations. The vehicle is equipped with 320PS engine which is sufficient enough to meet the logistic requirements. It carries 4 units of Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) truck 4 or 3 units of mini bus chassis at any one time. Safety is one of the major considerations by GIGA. The HINO SG2PDPA prime mover is equipped with Full Air Brake System that helps effectively improve breaking performance even in extreme operating conditions. On top of that, in the event of a head-on collision, safety features are enhanced with telescopic and tilt steering column with locking device, recirculating ball with hydraulic booster which help to absorb some of the impact providing better protection for the driver. The trailer body is also equipped with an adjustable ramp to meet the need of carrying different size trucks. As for GIGA when asked, a good truck is not just the design and performance, but also with good after-sales service with nationwide coverage which HINO has them all. The truck painted in green shows logo of Nexus, is the whole subsidiary of GIGA which currently owns 57 units of HINO trucks. 8 Discovery Malaysia Pulau Rawa, Johor A small, beautiful island, surrounded by clear deep blue water, Pulau Rawa is located approximately 16km off the coast of Mersing, Johor. It lies within the archipelago of the Sultan Iskandar Marine Park. Owned by family members of the Johorean Sultanate, with azure blue waters and a killer sea slide to boot, this is definitely a beach lover s paradise! It s not a surprise Pulau Rawa is known as Malaysia s Maldives for its beautifully well kept nature. The island will mainly attract you for its amazing white beaches, as the interior is only thick jungle, hard to penetrate. You can go almost anywhere by walking and strolling along the sugary beach. It would barely take 15 minutes to walk up and down the island s western coast. The eastern side, barred with rocky cliffs, is inaccessible. You may also enjoy hiking up to the top of the island, where you will be rewarded with a panoramic view of the surrounding islands and the South China Sea. When the sea is calm, you will have the opportunity to rent a canoe and paddle around the island. Soft white powdery sands and crystal clear water create the picture perfect setting of a dream vacation. Furthermore, as soon as you step into the sea, you will be amazed by the diversity of the coral reef and the marine life. The resorts offer a comprehensive range of sea sport activities, including snorkelling, kayaking, scuba-diving, hobby-cat sailing, and island hopping. The food offered by the resorts on Pulau Rawa is also capable in tantalizing your taste buds. Finding a place to stay in Pulau Rawa is so much easier because there are only 2 options which are Rawa Island Resort and Alang s Rawa. Rawa Island Resort is more expensive than Alang s Rawa. However, it has decent rooms that are well maintained and well managed. They have a few villas and offer different types of room based on the view and the location that you have chosen. Alang s Rawa is the cheaper option. The resort offers a small and very relaxed basic room in a small little cozy house. The charges and pricing is based on no. of person instead of no. of room. So it is always the favourite option by backpackers & young westerners. The best period to visit Pulau Rawa and avoid the rain season are the months of March, April, May, June, July, August and September. Both resorts are open all year long, even during the monsoon, from December to February. Pulau Rawa is approximately half an hour away by speed boat or 1 hour by ferry from Mersing town jetty and for those interested, one need to book via the resort to get here. No flights and the Tioman ferries do not stop here.
