One Point Machine for all Applications Due to its infinitely adjustable tongue throw is applicable for grooved rail as well as flat bottom rail turnouts of all types and sizes. Various fastening methods are available off the shelf, like sleeper fixation angles, stock rail fixation, and protecting earth boxes. All such fastening elements are made of hot dip galvanized steel, providing a long lasting corrosion protection. All modules can be later retrofit at any time. MTTR value of the point machine amounts to 15 minutes only. Always the Right Choice The fully modular structure renders your investment sound and future-proof: prism lock and detection modules can be refitted at any time, as well as adaptations to existing signaling technology. The hydraulic drive principle operates at very low noise levels and provides a constant setting pressure over the entire throw travel. Varying supply voltages do not introduce any restrictions of the throw and the mechanical properties. Separate dampers are not required. Open Track Turnout, Point Machine beside the Tracks is also found in numerous special applications; e.g. with a separately positioned hydraulic unit to provide a super compact setting and detection unit for a double gauge turnout with 3 tongues. Due to the extremely low profile of the point machine a trouble-free installation in turnouts with embedded power rails is realized. For longer turnouts the system can operate two setting levels. The point machine operates frogs with moveable points and is as well applicable beside the tracks in the convential position.
