Drilling equipment for vertical drilling by use of cable tool percussion, direct mud circulation, reverse air lift circulation or DTH hammer with air. The Rig has capacity to drill to a max. depth of more than 100 m with a max. diameter of hole at 12 ¼. Max. size of casing to install ø324 mm. The rig is mounted at a three axle truck chassis type RENAULT KERAX, x4. KNEBEL HY-76-BR Truck mounted with PTO driven hydraulic piston pump. The unit is designed for operation at altitude up to meter above sea level and temperature from -20 to + 35 dg. C. 1

All wire and chain wheels are bedded in roller bearings. Type of chain to drive rotary head up and down is flyer chain 1 ¼ with 4 leaves. The guide mast is raised by two hydraulic cylinders, equipped with fall safe throttle device. The rotary head is guided by means of 12pcs. roller bearings. The guide mast has capacity to handle casing with external diameter up to 420 mm. The feed system has an automatic electric - hydraulic feed and hold-back system to secure the selected bit pressure. The mast can be displaced 760 mm in height and is at the lower end mounted with a casing rotator to handle up to ø324 mm casings, the rotator can be floating at or locked to the mast. ROTARY HEAD.: The rotary head is equipped with hollow bore spindle I.D. Max.150 mm The spindle is bedded in axial and radial roller and needle bearings. Max. axial working load..420 kn RPM at rotary head spindle is infinitely variable for rotation in both directions within the range from 0 to 110 RPM. Max. torque available during work.10,500 Nm The rotary head has two hydraulic motors. One motor is equipped with a device witch disengage motor and blocks it. In this condition the RPM will be doubled and Torque will be reduced to 5,250 Nm. Types of motors DANFOSS OMV 315, gear ratio 4,6:1, 106/23. For easy casing mounting the rotary head is mounted with hydraulic side retraction out from drill line, length of retraction 650 mm and hydraulic operated 90. tilt of head. For quick replacement of drill tools the rotary head is mounted with KNEBEL BREAK-O- MATIC system, the system works as a floating spindle by unscrewing tools and it 2

3 automatically increase the anti-clockwise torque extra Nm to a total of Nm. Connecting flange thread 3 ½ API Reg. pin down. Swivel for air / mud inlet at the top end of spindle, max. air / water inlet pressure 40 bar. All hydraulic hoses and control cable for rotary head is held by a special tension device, to secure a trouble free travel with the rotary head. One hydraulic operated chuck with 12 psc. grippers with tungsten picks made for drill rods size 8 (ø219.1 mm OD) including threaded sub 7-5/8 if KD comes with the drill rig. This feature simplify process when pulling threaded drill rods. Extensions for smaller size rods available. MAIN WINCH with FREE FALL PERCUSSION.: The drill rig is equipped with a hydraulic powered winch, mounted above mast raise cylinders. Diameter/length of wire drum..ø300/260 mm. Capacity of ø12 mm wire, on 4 layer 90 m. Hoisting speed is infinitely variable from 0 to 45 m/min. Max. wire pull at bare drum 30 kn. Type of hydraulic motor DANFOSS OMTS gear with brake type WGF /125. The brake is of fail safe type, automatic hydraulic operated. The winch is equipped with a hydraulic operated dog-clutch for free fall percussion drilling, the number of stroke / minute is adjustable from 32 to 50. Mounted at the winch is 50 meter ø 14 mm non rotating high quality steel wire, fitted with a swivel type safety hook. KIP OUT BOOM.: The mast top is equipped with a hydraulic tip out boom with wire wheel to lift the wire 1,2 out from centre of drilled hole. AUXILIARY WINCH and JIB BOOM.: The auxiliary winch has a capacity of max. 10,5 kn wire pull, at bare drum, to handle drill pipe and other tools. The drum has capacity spool 45 meter of ø8 mm steel wire. Max. speed of wire recommended 60 m/min. Diameter of drum..219 mm Diameter of drum end 300 mm Length of drum..120 mm Type of hydraulic motor DANFOSS OMT - FH 400, with fail safe automatic brake. The winch is mounted at the end of a 2,4 m jib boom with capacity to swing 180 around the mast top rear right corner, the boom can also be elevated from vertical down to horizontal and transport drill pipes from storage place to rotary head loading position. Mounted at the winch is 20 meter ø 6 mm non rotating high quality steel wire, fitted with a swivel type safety hook. CASING CLAMP.: At the bottom of the mast is mounted a hydraulic clamp for handling pipe, subs, bits, and casing to diameter of max. 324 mm O.D. The clamp can always be turned away from the drilling line to make room for max. ø420 mm diameter. The clamp has capacity to hold 250 kn static load. Reducers for ø268 mm and ø219.1 mm included. 3

4 HYDRAULIC SYSTEM.: The hydraulic pump to run the drill rig is connected to the engine though a PTO, with a gear ratio on 1 : 0,98 and a continuos output of 140 kw at max engine RPM. Make of pump is REXROTH type A11VO DRS / 11R- NSD12 K02 to power rig and accessories in one open circuit. The hydraulic system is protected against dirt by built in filters as following : 120 µ tank installed suction filter, 10 µ high pressure filter and 10 µ return filter. Volume of hydraulic tank 300 litre. The tank is equipped with oil level gauge, thermometer, cap with breather, drain plug and sensors to detect high oil temperature and automatic shut-down of the system in case of overheated oil. The hydraulic system is designed with steel pipes all over with exceptions of moving parts. Hydraulic hoses conforms to DIN 20022/4 or DIN T2. The hydraulic circuit works with the following maximum flow/pressure at 1850 engine RPM. 340 litre/min. and 280 bar from the pump. The rotary head is with DANFOSS OMV 315 motors, winches with DANFOSS OMT motors and casing rotator. The open circuit also power rotary head up and down, pipe clamp, rotary head retraction, rotary head tipping, mast up and down, mast height adjustment, supporting jacks, jib boom, tip out boom and hydraulic PTO. The hydraulic system is equipped with an electric driven oil cooler to control the temperature of the hydraulic system, 15 kw capacity. WORKING LIGHT.: The rig is completed with a light system, covering the drilling area, rig deck, instrumentation and mast top. Totally 7 pcs. 55 Watt, 24 Volt, shock-proof halogen lamps. Wiring is protected by conduit, fuse with light when broken, circuit breaker and lamps with glass protected by mesh cover. Two lamps installed at the mast top. Power supply from the truck generator, min. capacity 28 Volt and 60 ampere. FLAT ARRANGEMENT.: Free deck area is covered with aluminium chequer plate and provided with a system of eyes to lock up interchangeable containers. Access to deck area by use of three ladders one at each side of the rig and one at the rear end. One lockable tool box size L x W x H = 2,200 x 250 x 800 mm. The drill rig flat is equipped with a storage for drill pipes, located at right side, numbers of 3½ API Reg. drill pipe 3 m long app. 28 PCs. To lift drill pipe in and out of the magazine is used the jib boom with winch. The flat side door at right side is mounted at hinges placed in a way so when down it forms a walkway lifted to approximately the centre of truck wheels. 4

5 CONTROL PANEL.: The control panel is placed in lockable cabinet at left side toward the mast end. The operator can from that panel control: Engine start / stop, engine temperature, engine lubricant oil pressure, read and adjust RPM at engine, read total engine running hours, operate light switches and read pressure gauges for hydraulic system and drilling mud /air flushing system. In the control panel is placed all main levers and switches for rig operation, including emergency shut-down button. Following hydraulic functions are controlled from the operators panel. Rotary Head Direction and speed Rotary Head up / down Direction and speed Main winch..direction and speed Auxiliary winch...direction and speed Tip out boom in and out Pipe clamp...open and close Hydraulic PTO...start / stop / speed Automatic rotation. start / stop / speed Automatic feeding..start / stop / speed Selection valve for control of second hand operations such as supporting jacks, mast up / down, mast height displacement, rotary head side displacement and tipping. The secondary functions are selected on a pre-selection valve, placed away from main control valve but within an arms length. Electrical control at truck engine speed, mud / air systems valves open close, Gauges to read drill bit pressure in kn. The control panel is completely protected with a vandal proof cover when closed, during off time, during work the cover is used as a platform for the operator. The complete rig can be operated from a remote control box connected to the rig with a cable. The rig is equipped with 3 emergency stops.to operate the JIB BOOM is one multi function remote control handle located at right side of rig, this control is to be operated by the assisting drill operator. All written instruction are in Danish language. The rig is painted in a white colour. WATER / FOAM INJECTION / HAMMER LUBRICATOR.: In a cabinet size L x W x H, 1,200 x 800 x 1,000 mm is installed all standard air operation and treatment equipment. The air inlet at the cabinet is connected to the compressor main outlet, a main valve to close or open for air to the rotary head and a valve to release compressed air accumulated in drill pipe are with remote control from operators panel. One hydraulic driven three cylinder high pressure water pump is installed to inject water into the main air / mud line, with the following capacity From 2 to 23 litre per minute at max. 110 bar. This small pump can also be used for high pressure cleaning of the rig. Type of hydraulic motor to operate above pump is DANFOSS OMP25. The foam concentrate is by a separate non corrosive triplex piston pump injected into the pressure side of water delivery line, with the following capacity from 2,5 to 29 litre / hour. The suction line at the foam pump is connected to a stainless steel tank with 50 litre capacity. To lubricate down the hole tools the cabinet contains an electric driven automatic pulse pump, with capacity to inject from 0,8 to12 litre per hour, into the main air line, at a max. Pressure on 40 bar. The oil tank contains max. 50 litre. The cabinet has room for installation and storage of bit grinding equipment. 5

6 CASING ROTATOR 12.: To turn casing with diameter up to 324 mm O.D. flush joint, the mast is equipped with a casing rotary table mounted above the clamp. Max. torque at 280 bar 18 knm. Brake system.: The brake system is air pressure assisted, 2 circuit mechanical drum brakes on front and rear axles. Rear axles are with load control valve to adjust air pressure in according to load. The brake system is with non blocking control. Parking brake at rear axles air released and spring engaged. Exhaust engine brake. Cab.: All steel cab with electrical zinc coating and cataforce treatment, short version with standard roof. Hydraulic cylinder for tipping cab 60. The cab is mounted on 4 springs. 2 wiper for the windscreen with 2 speed and intermitted worktime. Drivers seat with air suspension single passenger seat, glove box, rear mirrors.light in the cab. Instruments: multi switch for light, horn and direction lamps, instrument illumination, instrument for oil level and temperature, coolant temperature, RPM counter with green driving area. Adjustable steering wheel in height angle. Lock at the steering wheel. French language nameplate on the instrument / gauge panel. Colour chassis brown, cab white. Change of roof on cab to reduce height of mast in transport position. FLANGE with 3 1/2 API Reg. pin.: For connecting drill pipe with 3 1/2 API Reg. threads to rotary head is needed a flange with above pin down. COMPRESSOR.: Hydraulicly powered piston compressor. Two cylindred make STENHØJ, type K11. Powered by a hydraulic DANFOSS OMP 80 motor through a toothed belt drive. 40 L. tank, safety valve and on/off valve witch stops and starts compressor at two pressure set points. Maximum pressure 10 bar, Maximum flow 500 L. / min. Provide air supply to the rear end of the Drill Rig for air powered tool and for cleaning treads. 7
