5 Control System function list Control System PLC-7420 PLC-7420 is an advanced control module based on micro-processor, containing all necessary functions for protection of the genset and the breaker control. It can monitor the mains supply, breaker control. and automatically start the engine when the mains is abnormal. Accurately measure various operational parameters and display all values and alarms information on the LCD. In addition, the control module can automaticallyshut down the engine and indicate the engine failure. Furthermore, it contains all necessary three-phase measuring circuits and presents all values and alarms on the LCD display. The module has the function of load sharing which enables the module to share the active load (kw) equally when operating in parallel with other gensets. The load sharing is performed so each genset takes a portion of the load that is calculated in percent according to the nominal power.
