18 TEMPERATURE SWITH PNEUMATI DESRIPTION Temperature switches are used to ensure that spitting or dripping will not occur on start-up. The pneumatic temperature switch is designed for use with pneumatic control system and will close bleed-off port on temperature rise at approximately 200 F. This will allow pneumatic actuator to operate. INSTALLATION The switch should be installed between separator and steam trap (see drawing) as close to the separator as possible. For multiple distributor humidifiers the temperature switch should be placed prior to the steam trap on the steam supply line feeding the steam jacketing. The switch is a well type with ½" NPT threaded connection (tee 3/4" x 3/4" x ½" required). The bleed-off port has a 1/4" NPT connection. It has to be installed in the pneumatic line between control valve and humidistat. Maximum distance between switch and bleed-off port (length at capillary tube) is approximately 42 inches. 19 TEMPERATURE SWITH ELETRI DESRIPTION Temperature switches are used to ensure that spitting or dripping will not occur on start-up. The electric temperature switch is designed for 24V/120V and will close on temperature rise at approximately 200 F. The probes are of all welded stainless steel construction with seal to ensure hermeticity. Switch design and construction provide high vibration and shock resistance. INSTALLATION The switch should be installed between separator and steam trap (see drawing) as close to the separator as possible. For multiple distributor humidifiers the temperature switch should be placed prior to the steam trap on the steam supply line feeding the steam jacketing. The switch is a well type with ½" NPT threaded connection. The switch has 12" long lead wires to connect to the external wiring and threaded coupling for conduit connection.
