This sensor is normally mounted half way down the length of the boom and provides additional boom protection in severe terrain. 9 UC5 Spray Height Control UC5 Options Enhanced Stability Some boom movements, such as sprayer flex, are difficult for the standard system to measure. This option adds the ability to measure more of the boom movements (roll in two places), providing a more accurate representation of boom position, therefore improving system performance. 10 UC5 Options Active Roll Control for John Deere Sprayers The addition of NORAC s patented Active Roll Control to the UC5 Spray Height Control systems enable the sprayer to go over severe terrain by rolling the center section, as well as controlling wing lift and center height. Spray height is maintained, even in the most severe conditions. Rotating and controlling the center section also increases the wing lift speed.
