WEAR SAFETY GLASSES. DO NOT MOW WHEN CHILDREN OR OTHERS ARE AROUND. NEVER CARRY CHILDREN EVEN WITH BLADES OFF. USE EXTRA CAUTION ON SLOPES. DO NOT MOW SLOPES GREATER THAN MOW ACROSS NOT UP AND DOWN. AVOID SUDDEN TURNS, USE LOW SPEED. READ OPERATOR'S MANUAL. KEEP SAFETY DEVICES IN PLACE AND WORKING. STARTING INSTRUCTIONS To START, PARK BRAKE must be set. P.T.O. switch in OFF (down) position. Lap bars in NEUTRAL and outward positions. Throttle set properly, CHOKE position if "cold". Turn key to ON, then START, release when engine runs. RUN START Operation Of This Equipment May Create Sparks That Can Start Fires Around Dry Vegetation. A Spark Arrestor May Be Required. The Operator Should Contact Local Fire Agencies For Laws Or Regulations To Fire Prevention Requirements. OFF NOTICE PTO Automatically Disengages When Both Lap Bars Are Moved Too Far Into Reverse. PTO Automatically Reengages When Levers Are Returned To The Neutral Or Forward Positions. I S00 DANGER KEEP HANDS AND FEET AWAY. DO NOT OPERATE MOWER UNLESS CHUTE DEFLECTOR OR ENTIRE GRASS CATCHER IS IN ITS PROPER PLACE. S00 ASSEMBLE CHUTE DEFLECTOR TO THIS UNIT BEFORE OPERATING. S TO REDUCE THE RISK OF INJURY, DO NOT OPERATE UNLESS DISCHARGE COVER OR GRASS CATCHER IS IN ITS PROPER PLACE. IF DAMAGED, REPLACE IMMEDIATELY. STOP ENGINE, DICONNECT SPARK PLUG(S) BEFORE ADJUSTING OR SERVICING. KEEP SAFETY DEVICES (GUARDS, SHIELDS, SWITCHES, ETC.) IN PLACE AND WORKING. AVOID SUDDEN TURNS. LOOK DOWN AND BEHIND BEFORE AND WHILE BACKING. NEVER CARRY CHILDREN EVEN WITH BLADES OFF. REMOVE OBJECTS THAT COULD BE THROWN BY THE BLADES. KNOW LOCATION AND FUNCTION OF ALL CONTROLS. DO NOT ADD FUEL WHILE THE ENGINE IS HOT OR RUNNING. SLOW FAST ON BRAKE OFF W A R N I N G IF MACHINE STOPS GOING UPHILL, STOP BLADES AND BACK DOWN SLOWLY.
