2 278 Clutch Pumps Flexible Impeller Clutch Pumps Clutch pumps combine: Unique advantages of self-priming flexible impeller Jabsco pump & a clutch-drive mechanism to engage or disengage pump as needed. Available with either manual or electric clutches for use versatility. Generally they are powered by propulsion engines but may be driven by any adequate source of belt drive power. Clutch will "free wheel" with power source until pump is required. Then, clutch can be engaged to throw pump into operation for emergency or general circulation needs.
