5 Designed for the homeowner! Land Pride s Patriot Series Rear Discharge Grooming Mowers offer features and benefits that satisfy the most particular users. Our unique tapered rear design does away with chains that tend to clump damp grass and leave it lying in piles. Our wide, even dispersal leaves grass in a fine thin layer directly behind the mower. This is especially beneficial if you are not wanting to blow grass in unwanted areas, like streets or flowerbeds. The driveline storage hook keeps the driveline off the ground when not in use. A mower that gives a commanding performance, in a very versatile size, and costs thousands less than a self contained out front mower. With the rotor working in the opposite direction of travel, the cut grass is brought up and over the rotor. Most clippings are laid down prior to the mower passing it by, which means foreign objects also have a tendency to stay inside the mower and are less likely to be discharged. 17 The 41 Series offers 3/16 deck material and utilizes a threaded rod to easily offset the hitch by nearly 8. The gearbox incorporates an over-running clutch that enables the rotor to swing free to a stop when the tractor PTO has been turned off. The rear gate of the mower can be opened for easier discharge in heavy conditions, or left closed for greater mulching capabilities. The 41 Series also offers heavy forged hammers and brush rake teeth. 22 Parallel Arm Rotary Cutters Now Available with Self Contained Hydraulic System! 22 Hydraulic Driven Parallel Arm Rotary Cutter. All boom rotary cutters are not created equal. The Land Pride Parallel Arm Rotary Cutter has a unique name for a reason. Designed to reach out and cut along roadsides, over guard rails, down ditchbanks and around ponds, the Parallel Arm Rotary Cutter has features not found on your typical boom cutter. First of all, it has a constant attitude! When the two cylinders that operate the two arm sections are activated, the attitude of the deck does not change; thanks to the parallel arm design. Lift the cutter head up, in or out to negotiate an obstacle, and your cutter deck position does not change; set the cutter head down at the same attitude as it was prior to the obstacle. This makes your work efficient! The hydraulic breakaway feature of the Parallel Arm Rotary Cutter is also not found on your standard boom cutter. When an immovable obstacle is hit with the cutter deck, instead of swinging the tractor around in a dangerous whip, the cutter deck and arms pivot to the rear, allowing you time to stop, or at least help the cutter deck pass the obstacle. You simply restore the cutter deck to its original position with the help of a hydraulic cylinder. You can also swing the cutter deck rearward enabling you to mow into a tight corner, again putting it back to its original setting with the hydraulic cylinder. The cutter deck is operated by a hydraulic motor, which is run by a pump powered by the PTO of the tractor. A flow control valve is standard equipment to protect the hydraulic system of the cutter from the high GPM many of the newer tractors now utilize. The 35 gallon oil reservoir keeps the unit running cool, and the in-line filter continually cleans the oil each time it is returned to the reservoir. Optional gauge wheel deck allows the cutter to float over undulations without having to constantly monitor terrain conditions. The optional electronic package enables each of the arm and deck hydraulic cylinders to be activated by a toggle switch. You get instant response from the cylinder, which can be very difficult with the tractor s hydraulic controls. An aggressive agitator also keeps seed moving towards the picker wheel to keep seeding rates consistent. A pull-hitch is available for the 20 Series Primary Seeders. This pull-hitch has wheels incorporated into it, rather than being part of the seeder, making it more compatible with smaller tractors. A 4-speed gearbox and quick sprocket change is used on the PSN to change seeding rates. The large cup must remain open for the fluffy seed. This method of adjusting seed rates is to regulate the speed of the picker wheel inside the cup. The simple chain drive is easily accessible and delivers a constant, consistent flow of seeds through the seed cups.

NEW SEEDING While seeding into a freshly prepared site, the front angling rollers help cut through the top crust, kicking up a light amount of soil, making sure the ground is soft. The seed is then dropped, and compressed by the rear roller. Establishing this initial seed to soil contact is essential in achieving a high rate of germination. OVERSEEDING The All-Purpose Seeder is an ideal overseeder for several reasons. One, it is ground driven which takes some of the burden away compared to a powered overseeder; You don t have a driveline and related drivetrain components to maintain, and, two, the front rollers are adjustable to various levels of aggressiveness. ADJUSTABLE FRONT ROLLERS By adjusting the front two rollers, you can control how aggressive you want to be in the existing turf you are overseeding. If the existing turf is fairly sparse, go light on the angle of the rollers so some dirt is kicked up, but the existing turf is not torn up. If the existing turf is thick, the front two rollers can be set quite aggressive to work through thatch and dead grass build up, allowing the seed to drop closer to the soil. 45 QUALITY LAND PRIDE FEATURES We ve incorporated many of our standard seeding features into the All-Purpose Seeder. Seedbox The all welded seedbox creates strength for the seeder. The watertight lid helps keep the elements out and your seed dry. The seedbox also has a seed splashplate to keep seed out of the hinge area of the lid. A paddle type agitator is also included in the seedbox to keep seed from bridging, and allowing an uninterrupted flow to the seed cups. At one bushel per foot, the capacity is just right for landscaping size projects to reclamation projects. Seed cups We ve been using our seed cups on seeders and grain drills for many years. This cup is the standard of the seeding industry, and you can easily see why when you look at the fluted metering device and see how it grabs the same amount of seed all of the time. This results in excellent accuracy, and money saving efficiency. Rollers The heat treated steel spikes engage the ground to keep the rollers turning, agitate the soil, aerate existing turf, promote seed to soil contact, and then the rear roller compresses the soil. Spring Loaded Rear Roller Available in a spike or cast notched configuration, the rear roller is spring loaded to ensure that the roller will stay on the ground, even in rough conditions. With the rear roller being connected directly to the seed cups, it is important that it is not interrupted so to minimize seeding skips. By being spring loaded, the possibility of skips is greatly diminished. Lift Hooks Lift Hooks are conveniently located on both sides of the seedbox to aid in lifting the seeder on and off the trailer.
