5 Ilyich Iron and Steel Works of Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works of Mariupol (Ilyich I&SW of Mariupol) is one of Ukraine s largest integrated steel production plants. Ilyich I&SW of Mariupol produces flat rolled steel and pipes made of carbon, low-alloy and alloy steel, including hot rolled, cold rolled and galvanized coils and plates/sheets used for welded pipes, structural steel, and sections for railcar manufacturing. The plant holds 50 product quality certificates from seven internationally recognized certification agencies that cover its range of steel products manufactured from more than 200 steel grades. The plant has also obtained certificates from Ukrainian certification institutions. Ilyich I&SW of Mariupol has a quality management system in place that was designed and certified according to the requirements of ISO 9001.
