DICKIES footwear, when indicated, meets or exceeds the ASTM F standards for the following safety features: Impact (i/75) = Indicates protection for the toe area of footwear from a nominal impact of 75 foot-pounds (101.7J). This is the equivalent of a 50 pound weight dropped from a height of 2 feet. Compression (c/75) = Indicates protection for the toe area of footwear capable of withstanding a force equivalent to 2500lbs of pressure. EH DICKIES safety footwear marked with EH indicates footwear that has a sole capable of withstanding an application of 18,000 volts at 60 Hz for 1 minute with no current flow or leakage current in excess of 1 millamperes. DICKIES slip resisting range of footwear has been engineered to help prevent against instances of slip hazards.
