The Apex is available with many options including: limit switches, position feedback transmitter, speed controls, and our Pharos TM visual position indicator.

2 Apex 5000 The Apex 5000 Pneumatic Positioner provides accurate valve positioning with advanced features. It may be used with 3-15 psi pneumatic control signals, or fitted with one of three current-to-pressure transducers for 4-20 ma signal input. The Apex is available with many options including: limit switches, position feedback transmitter, speed controls, and our Pharos TM visual position indicator. Non-interactive Span Adjustment reduces calibration time. Patented Adjustable Gain allows positioner sensitivity adjustment without removing or replacing components. Heavy duty aluminum construction for durability and long life. Dichromate undercoat and polyester powder top coat provide atmospheric corrosion resistance. Captive Cover Screws permit calibration without potential for losing screws. Optional Pharos TM Visual Position Indicator provides fully adjustable, high contrast, fullangle viewing of valve position. Field Upgradeable. The Apex 5000 is fieldupgradeable to any of three electro-pneumatic options without removing the cover. Switches or a position transmitter are field installable by replacing the shaft and adding modular "cards." Vibration Resistant. Limit Switch Options: Apex Limit Switch Options provide reliable indication of full open and full closed positions. Features include spring loaded quick-set cams and detachable terminal block. Three switch configurations are available: Type K Type M Type N (2) SPDT Mechanical Form C (2) SPST Proximity Form A (2) SPDT Proximity Form C Position Transmitter: Apex Position Transmitter allows full stroke valve position indication with 4-20 ma signal. Features include LED indication of loop power and internal zero and span adjustment. Output Options: Block and Bleed Module - Blocks positioner output and vents actuator for manual override. Constructed of diecast aluminum and powder coated, the AXL Series provides explosion proof protection. It is available with a wide range of limit switches and position transmitters. 8 UltraSwitch AGL Series Our AGL series switch enclosure is a more compact, less expensive package with similar features as our AXL series. It is designed to NEMA4 standards and may be configured for sanitary applications. Pharos visual indicator. Quick set cams. Dual 1/2" conduit entries. Captive, stainless steel cover screws. Our NAMUR shaft options include alignment pins to ensure accurate fit between accessory and actuator. The kits feature stainless steel construction at an economical price. To order Kits: Specify "NAMUR Kit" and actuator make, model and size. UNIVERSAL MOUNTING KITS These non-metallic, adjustable mounting kits provide corrosion protection for severe applications. They are available for virtually all rotary actuators. To order Kits: Specify part number XP2 for our Universal kit, including (1) bracket with 1.5" center hole and (5) couplers with flats for 8mm, 10mm, 14mm, 20mm and 28mm actuator shafts.
