Warning: Diaper changing statins are n strnger that the anchrs r walls t which they are attached and, therefre, must be firmly secured in rder t supprt the lads fr which they are intended. CMW Cleaning- Brcar plyethylene and stainless diaper changing statins shuld be cleaned with a sft clth r spnge and a nn-abrasive cleaner. Warm water r an rganic slvent can be used. The preferred slvent is ne that des nt cntain chlrine, such as acetne, methyl alchl r mineral spirits. There are many cmpunded r blended rganic cleaners cmmercially available t ptimize attributes f bth cleanliness and safety. Inspectin: Safety strap: Inspect the buckle and strap fr prper functining as part f the facility s washrm cleaning and maintenance schedule. Clsing cylinder: If the unit will nt stay fully clsed, the clsing cylinder may need t be replaced. Safety label: If the safety label is missing, restrict the unit frm use by taping it clsed as well as labeling the unit inperable r remving the unit frm the wall until a new label is installed. Hinges, munting hardware: Ensure that the hinges and munting blts are nt lse by pulling the unit tward yu and frm side t side. If any play exists greater than ¼ r 2.5mm in any directin, discntinue use f the unit by taping it clsed r remving it frm the wall, as well as labeling the unit inperable. Cntact prfessinal maintenance persnnel t diagnse and crrect the prblem. Instructins Fr Use Infrmatin fr prduct use is presented in the frm f five graphic symbls within labeling adhered t each prduct. The symbls and clr scheme designs cmply with ANSI Z535.4 Prduct Safety Signs & Labels, ANSI Z535.3 Criteria fr Safety Symbls and ANSI Z535.1 Safety Clr Cde. Warranty Brcar Prducts, Incrprated warrants its prducts against defective material and manufacturing defects (but nt imprper use) fr a perid f five years after sale. Brcar Prduct s liability under this warranty shall be limited t the repair r replacement f the defective prduct. Installatin: The unit has six recess munting hles. Wd duble stud blcking is necessary. See recmmended blcking r cntact an architect and building fficial t make sure the blcking is adequate and cmplies with building cdes. Recmmended Blcking: (522mm) x (870mm). Drilling the Hles and Munting the Statin: 1. Slide changer int blcking area. Mark munting hle lcatins n blcking studs. 2. Pre-drill hles marked in step 1 using a 3/16" drill bit. 3. Slide changer int blcking area again and shim fr a snug fit. Fix the changer int the pre-drilled hles using #10 x 3" (M6 x 76mm) flat head wd screws with finishing washers and flat washers r pan head wd screws with flat washers. Make sure yu have taken the perating clearance int cnsideratin. Fr all ther wall substrate types, please cntact an architect r qualified building engineer fr installatin recmmendatins.
