1 Features: The ESBE 24 volt electronic series of motor actuators are direct mounted actuators that rotate ESBE 3 & 4-way mixing/diverting valves for hydronic heating and cooling systems. The Series 60 of compact motors are designed for operating valves up to 2. The fixed 90 rotation provides consistent rotation of the actuator for the hydronic application. Features: ESBE control motor series are of a compact design. Direct mount actuators. Easy manual override of motor. Floating 3-point or proportional signal operation. Auxiliary Switch 62EM: max. 2A, adjustable cam position Mounting: The actuator should be mounted with the ESBE rotary valve stem in either a horizontal position or pointing upwards. The actuator should not be installed in a downward orientation to reduce the possible contact of water with the actuator. Plastic Cap Auxiliary Contact Cam: Within the 62EM there is a settable cam that determines when the auxiliary switch is engaged. Beneath the cover of the actuator is the settable cam for the auxiliary switch. Lift and position the cam within the rotation path. The maximum load for the auxiliary switch is 2amps. 3

4 Manual Operation: When placing the actuator in manual operation power should be turned off to the actuator. In the event the actuator is powered and is left in a manual position, the result could lead to the internal damage of the actuator. To place the 60 Series actuator in manual operation, push in the large knob. With the knob pushed in rotate it either clockwise or counter clockwise.
