3 HOW IT WORKS Hot Wax & Shine is designed to add additional revenues and the top package to the existing package or alacart to all packages. The HOT WAX is a high foaming application covering the top & sides surfaces of the vehicle with product in the function before the final spot free rinse cycle giving it a hand wax feel and deep shine. The application will go on the vehicle through the arch and make a full rotation around the car INSTALLATION In the pump unit: Remove the hose from the end of the solenoid manifold and screw on the tee with the swivel end. Replace the hose on the end of the tee fitting as shown in the picture. Fig A Make sure all the swivel fittings, injector and hoses are tight on the tee and dema valve. Run the long hose supplied to the bridge through the boom assembly Also run the 2 conductor cable at the same time. In the Bridge: Remove the SST tube from the soap heater to the distribution block Fig B Replace JIC adapter with adapter check valve supplied into heater Fig B Screw on the swivel tee into distribution block and tighten. Replace the SST tube with the short hose supplied. Fig D Connect the hose to the check valve on the manifold supplied. Fig C Make sure all the connections are tight and cable tied away from moving parts. At this point the plumbing is complete

7 Electrical Connection: The kit comes with a harness which makes the circuit. Fig F. In this harness there are 2 logic relays in the coil to open the Dema solenoid we added. The harness has certain plugs that make this happen. The harness Fig F shows which each leg connects to. One of the connections is just removing the plug from soap 1 and connecting to the male plug on the harness. Fig E. Secure connection with electrical tape. Fig E There will also be 2 wires fused, from the harness which is the switch for the LED lights. Fig F You will need to connect those wires to the LED transformer 110v hot supply. This is just a switch breaking the hot side of the 110v to the transformer. The round sign 110v can also be wired here as long as the total amperage doesn t exceed 4 amps total. The common will be the same for the LED transformer and round sign. The 2 conductor cable from the bridge can be wired to the transformer 24v output. Make sure to use the same 2 wires in the bridge.

9 Important: It will also be necessary to choose a water inlet output on the pump output card which is not being used on soap one function so we can create the logic. There is a cable from the harness that needs to run to output card. Controller card slot #5 Cable from harness Red wire to water type output Black to common 24v

10 Water Outputs: When adding the red wire you may experience another wire in the terminal location. Make sure you do not remove that wire. Again make sure the water type chosen is different then what soap 1 is currently using. When connecting the black wire you can use any open terminal at P2.

11 Programming: When programming the Hot Wax function you will need to add soap 1 function in the cycles where you want the hot wax to come on. In that function you will need to chose the water inlet you wired to on the output card. Again make sure it s different from the actual soap 1, If not the logic will not work. In this function you can adjust water pressures (note: Must not be more then 60%), cycle speeds and which confirmation sign you want to come on. We will have decals available to cover the Hi Pressure Washing wording on the sign and have it say Hot Wax being applied. The chevron can also be changed out to red to stand out if wanted. Also it is possible to apply the Hot wax hot by switching the hoses in the pump unit between soap 1 and the new hot wax hose. Soap 1 will go on cold if you do this. LED Mounting Location When mounting the LED lights make sure they are missed when the arch rotates 360 degrees. Also use SST fender washers and bolts to mount it. Make all wire connections in the center of the bridge and cable tie the wire from all moving parts. This location is only for this type dryer. Original type dryer will need a different location Machines without dryers can be mounted on the flat back exit side of the bridge.
