2 Assembly Procedure 1. First decide where to install the device. 2. Spread a rubber mat and place the case of SolarBox on it. 3. Remove the front and top covers for further installation of the batteries and connecting wires. 4. Put batteries on shelves. 2

3 Before connecting the battery read safety instructions on installing batteries. Make sure that SolarBox is not connected to a power source, and that the fuses have been removed. ATTENTION! All connections must be carried out when power is off. ATTENTION! Do not connect battery fuses before SolarBox start! 3

5. Remove protective caps before connecting jumpers to batteries. 6. Connect the jumpers in accordance with the numbering as shown below. 6.1 Connect negative jumper to the terminal «1» of Battery 1.

3 Connect the second jumper to the «2+» terminal of Battery 2, then connect it to the «3» terminal of Battery 3. 6.

Connect terminals of monitoring and balancing systems (5 wires). 7.1 First connect the negative knife terminal to the «1» terminal of Battery Following the numbering of jumpers, connect the remaining knife terminals to «1+», «2+», «3+», «4+» terminals of the Batteries Connect temperature sensors as shown below: 5

6 Electrical connection 1. Before connecting power cables, make sure that toggle switch of the front panel is in the middle position «Unit OFF». 2. The supplied input cable must be connected through the sealed inlet «AC Input» to the terminal block inside the power module according to the drawing. Connect the second end of the input cable to the main AC distribution board. ATTENTION! EXTERNAL POWER CABLE MUST NOT EXCEED 10 METERS 3. Connect the cable through the sealed inlet «AC Output» to the terminal block. The second end must be connected to the output distribution board that will receive the loads (according to the drawing). 6

Cable section should be at least 4 mm 2. WARNING!

Always turn off the inverter before any loads connection. 4. Connect the fuses.

Install and fix the remaining parts of the box, as well as front and top covers. 6.

Install and fix the remaining parts of the box, as well as front and top covers. 6. Switch on the circuit breaker to ensure voltage supply. 7. Depending on operation mode turn the toggle switch either to «Power Saver Auto» or to «Power saver Off» mode. 8. Connect the network cable to Ethernet output to connect the monitoring system to the BMCS server. 7

8 Important information about unit modes: For solar panels operation turn the switch on the control panel to «CYCLING & PV MODE», for mains operation switch to «STANDBY & UPS MODE». If devices need small or no alternating current for loads transfer, turn the switch on the control panel to «Power Saver Auto» mode.
