17 Ladder Assembly: 1. Mount ladder ( ) to side of hopper as shown using the hardware provided. 2. Top bolt for mounting ladder is in place. Remove whiz nut and fasten top ladder mounting bracket here. Using a 3/8 x 3/4 hex bolt and whiz flange nut mount the bottom ladder mounting bracket to the platform as shown. Tighten bolts securely. 3. Attach ladder to railing using the two mounting straps ( ) and four u-bolts ( ) as shown. Secure in place using the 1/4 whiz flange nuts. Tighten hardware securely. 18 Manual Holder Bracket Mount manual holder to corner of hopper or convergent location on implement. Store Operator s manual, Packing List & Rate Chart of convergent access. Maintenance Check all bolts for tightness after first two hours of use; check periodically thereafter. Grease all fittings regularly. There are Two grease fittings on this hopper. These must be greased before use and periodically during use. Locations: See page 9. One grease fitting on each 1-inch bearing (D ) (two) located on the 1-inch drive shaft (6299-5). One grease fitting on each 1-inch bearing (D ) (two) located on the 1-inch line shaft ( ). Lucubrate chains as needed. Periodically clean intake screen on hydraulic driven blower.
