2 Technical Informati MM4S Video mm4s switches LOW TORQUE STANDARD TORQUE HIGH TORQUE PTS PROGRAMMING LOCKED SPECIFICATIONS Input Voltage: 24VDC +/- 10% Wire gauge: Minimum 18 gauge Direct wire run - no relays or access ctrol units in-between power supply & module Low Torque Mode Average Latch Retracti Current: 600 ma Average Holding Current: 150 ma Standard Torque Mode Average Latch Retracti Current: 900ma Average Holding Current: 215 ma High Torque Mode Average Latch Retracti Current: 2 Amp Average Holding Current: 250 ma Setting PTS **Important Info** Make sure to set PTS before finishing installati Step 1- Select your preferred torque mode (ships in standard torque) Press the device push pad to the desired setting. (Recommend to fully depress and release 5%, giving the device room for changing door cditis.) Step 2- While depressing the push pad, apply power. (i.e. presenting the credential to the reader). Step 3-2 Beeps Ctinue to keep pad depressed, the device will beep 6 times. After the beeps have stopped, release the pad and now the adjustment is complete. If not to your liking repeat the 3 steps. Beeps Explanati Soluti Over Voltage Troubleshooting & Diagnostics > 30V unit will shut down. Check voltage & adjust to 24 V. 3 Beeps Under Voltage < 20V unit will shut down. Check voltage & adjust to 24 V. 4 Beeps Failed Sensor Verify all 3 sensor wires are installed correctly. Replace sensor if problem persists by ctacting ice. 5 Beeps 6 Beeps Retracti or dogging failure PUSH TO SET After 1st fail: 5 beeps then immediately attempts to retract again. After 2nd fail: 5 beeps with pause in-between for 30 secds then device attempts to retract again. After 3rd fail: 5 beeps every 7 minutes, device will not attempt to retract. To Reset: Depress bar for 5 secds at any time. Device is recording it s new positi and power mode after the 6th beep.

4 Installati Instructis 1. Remove End Cap & Filler Plate B. 2. Remove (4) screws from baserail Partially slide push pad approx. 2-3 Using 5/32 drill bit. Open up the (2) back screw holes #3 & Ctinue sliding push pad half way out of the base rail so activating bracket is accessible. Next, remove metal rod and AB mount can be put aside. 5 CONTINUED 6. Attach the link assembly to the end of the activating bracket. Next, place activating bracket into center of the motor mount. Secure link assembly to activating bracket 7. with Hex wrench provided. Link Assembly 8. Re-install metal rod securing activating bracket to motor mount. 9. Slide push pad with motor kit back into the device. Also, the filler plate must be slid in at same time. Make sure Latch retractor is pressed down so push pad slides over it.

6 CONTINUED Re-install original screws in holes 1 & 2. Install new screws provided in holes 3 & 4. Cnect your VD 8 lead (CAT or VD retrofit) or you can remove the VD cnector to hardwire- take stripped wire end and push into the push & go cnector 12. Next, plug in the push & go cnector into the MM4S. Add Add program sticker to back of the device. program sticker to back of the device. 13. E. Step 1- Setting PTS Select your preferred torque mode (ships in standard torque) Press the device push pad to the desired setting.
