Ensto Underground offers functional and reliable medium voltage packages with both heat and cold shrink technologies. Moreover, our hybrid joints are an effective and durable combination of both technologies. The products have been tested according to international standards. 17 Low voltage cable connectors and lugs SLJ and shear head bolt connectors and SJ screw connectors The connectors are used for jointing conductors of 1 kv cables. Because of the shear head bolt construction, no crimping tools are needed. The required torque of SLJ connectors is achieved by tightening the bolt until it breaks off. SJ0.47 has non-breaking screws. The connectors are water tight and suitable for solid and stranded, sector shaped and circular, conductors. The core insulation may be plastic or paper. The breakouts are suitable for both plastic and belted paper insulated 1 kv cables. They are UV resistant and halogen free, and come with adhesive. The colour is black.
