1 10 th ANNUAL MCR FALL CLASSIC Open Street Stock Rules: **RACEceivers Mandatory** Body & Frames: This class is open to any American made passenger car excluding compact, jeeps, trucks, wagons, convertibles, El Caminos, Rancheros, and sports cars (corvettes, etc.). No front wheel drive cars. Wheel base should be stock for the make and model car used plus or minus 1 inch. Faulty welding will be rejected. After market bodies may be used. Old race frames may be used, but must be at least 2 by 3 rectangular tubing. All doors must be welded or bolted shut. No open tail panels. Sheet metal must extend at least to the bumper. Cars are permitted cockpits. All Chrome, glass and lights must be removed. Dashes may be removed. Parts of rear frame may be replaced with tubing. No Mirrors! All interior upholstery must be removed including back seats. Lower Control : tubular lower A arms that mount in stock locations. Numbering & Painting: All cars must be neat in appearance; numbers must be at least 18 on both doors and roof and a 4 x4 plate on the right front corner of the windshield with the cars number on it. Hood and Trunk: All hoods and trunks must have pins installed for easy access. Hoods may have 14 hole cut for air cleaners and engine cubic inch written on both sides of the hood. Bumpers: All bumpers must be welded or bolted to the frame securely, no sharp edges allowed and bumpers can not be wider then the cars body. Chains must be attached to front and back bumpers and easily accessible for towing purposes. Windshields: All glass removed, ½ mesh screen in good shape with at least 1 solid bar from roll cage down to dash area (on entire windshield).

2 Roll Cage:Must be a 4 post roll cage minimum wall thickness of.083 and l ½ diameter. Driver area must be padded and have a headrest. Roll cage must extend above drivers head and match roof line of car. Cages should be mounted to the frame. Must have a firewall between driver and fuel cell. Safety:All cars must have an approved working five point (crotch, seat belt and shoulder harness) racing type seat belts and window net. Seat belts must be bolted to the roll cage. Drivers must have fire retarding clothing (fire suit, gloves helmets, etc.). Helmets must be ASA or Snelling approved. Fire extinguisher must be fully charged and mounted in an area accessible from the inside from inside and outside. Fuel cell: Must have 3 safety straps and be securely fastened to the frame in the trunk of the car with a steel firewall between it and the driver, all fuel cells must be top feed and all fuel lines that run within the interior of the car must be encased in metal tubing. Fuel cells should have 1/8 plate covering the bottom. Gasoline Only! Engines & Radiators: No aluminum heads, no dry sumps, no turbos, no magnetos, TWO barrel carburetors only. Gasoline Only! No alcohol, no fuel additives, no electric fuel pumps, stock position pumps only. Radiators must be good condition. Aluminum radiators are permitted. 602 Crate motor is allowed and must have part number for each item as sold; any item is subject to Inspection. All part numbers and casting numbers must be visible for Inspection. GM engine seal bolts must be in place or be sealed by a Crate Racin' USA, RUSH or FASTRAK certified builder. Batteries: No battery in driver s compartment, battery should be in an enclosed metal container. Exhaust: Factory intakes exhaust manifolds, headers. Allowed exhaust extends to outside of car and not straight down to ground. Suspensions:Leaf springs allowed, No pull bars, No three links. No traction devices. No Panhard Bars allowed Floater rear ends allowed. No Gun drilled Axles allowed. No lightweight gears. ONLY Steel spools.

Rear End Mounts MUST Be Within 2 Inches Of Factory.. Communication: Absolutely no two way radios. RACECEIVERS MANDATORY. Channel Weights: All weights and drive shafts must be painted white with cars numbers on it and mounted securely. No weights mounted in drivers compartments. Tires and Wheels: Cars must have Reinforced wheels with oversized lug nuts and oversized (at least ½ inside, 1 outside) studs. Steel racing wheels are mandatory. NO ALUMINUM WHEELS PERMITTED. Bead lock rims are permitted. Mud plugs are permitted. NO WINTER TREAD PATTERNS. Grooving of tires is permitted. Maximum tread width 14" flat surface. ALL TIRES MUST PUNCH A 44 or harder durometer reading. Wheel size may be 8 to 10. Original bolt patterns on front and rear. No 4 bolt patterns allowed. No wide five hubs allowed. Open tire rule (remember 2015 FALL CLASSIC IS A DAYTIME EVENT) Transmissions: Any racing transmission & clutches allowed. Car Weight: All 8 tire cars must weigh 2800 lbs and all bigger tires cars must weigh 3000# (exception 602 crate cars can weigh 2800# any size tire). Cars will be scaled at any given time with driver in car. Track Scales are official. Spoilers:

4 Maximum Spoiler allowed is 6 inches in height. Body: Body width may not exceed 78 at the top of doors or quarter panels and not exceed 86 at the bottom of doors & quarters. The maximum roof size is 60 x60 with a maximum rake of 2. Rear Spoiler 78 wide x 6 inches of measure material with no more than 3 supports and must be attached solid to the deck. The spoiler cannot be wider than the deck at the rear. All dimensions will be measured from the deck; tolerance for the hinge only. Rear sail panels must be the same left and right. The sail panel must drop towards the deck at the back edge of the roof panel. Sail panel maximum length at the bottom is 45. The sail panels cannot connect to the rear spoiler. All glass & plastic must be removed. Noses must not exceed 85 in width any where including fender extensions. No extra fins, flares, flanges, ridges, beads, spoilers, turn-ins or turn-outs or anything else that can be construed as an aero advantage will be allowed. PURE STOCK RULES: **RACEceivers Mandatory** CHASSIS/BODY Acceptable vehicles: All North American OEM 4-link cars 1965 to present with a minimum wheelbase of 101. Wheelbase must measure the same on both sides. No convertibles, trucks, jeeps, station wagons or sport utilities. Must have full firewall and floorboards in driver s compartment. Passenger interior may be boxed in above floorboard but no higher than window opening. No spoiler or spoiler sides. Rear deck must have no more than 2 rake (from back to mid plate). Max deck height is 45. Roof raking 2 max. No sideboards or wings of any kind or size. Tail ends must be completely covered (side to side) one half the distance from the highest point

5 of the rear deck to the ground. In other words, measure from ground to highest point of rear deck. (This must be done with car race ready tires on and inflated, car on level ground, etc.) Divide that in half and back must be completely sealed that far down. Body style must be respective to this class and must pass tech inspection approval. No flat panels on the sides, it MUST be STOCK APPEARING. (NO EXCEPTIONS) Plastic or rubber nose and tail piece permitted. One or two piece. Nosepiece must be stock type. No late model style noses permitted. FRAME Must remain OEM appearing. Front and rear suspension mounts on frame MUST remain STOCK and in STOCK LOCATIONS. Altering will result in disqualification. Rectangular tubing may be used to replace rusted frames behind rear-end. Any alterations MUST HAVE TECH APPROVAL. Uni-body frames must have 2 x 3 square tubing joining front and rear frame sections. The Tech Inspector must approve such modifications and agree that it is safe or the car will not be permitted to race. SUSPENSION Suspension must match chassis used. No coil-overs permitted. No driver adjustable components. Any coil springs, any shim, or spring spacers are permitted. Cars must have a minimum of 5 inches ride height from the lowest point of the frame rail. Front A-arms tubular upper (non adjustable only) OEM type lower. (Rear) OEM location 4 link only. Mounts on rear-end must remain in stock position, and may not exceed 4 from the bottom of the axle tube to the bottom of the mount. Shocks must remain STOCK and in the STOCK position. Heims end shocks will NOT be permitted. No adjustable shocks front or rear. STEERING Steering must remain OEM for type of chassis used. OEM steering boxes only. No rack and pinions. Steering quickeners allowed. ENGINE/DRIVETRAIN Engine type (GM, Ford, Chrysler etc.) Must match chassis used. Maximum engine size is 350 (GM) 351(Ford) or 360(Chrysler). No fuel injection. Production fuel injected vehicles must be changed to carburetion. No 1995 or newer Vortec engines or heads. No aluminum blocks. No aluminum heads..

6 Double-hump heads are permitted. Engines may be bored to.040 over bore. Hydraulic camshafts only MAX CAM LIFT.320. (Measured at the cam.) No solid cams. No roller cams. No roller lifters. No roller rockers. Roller tips will be permitted. Stock stamped 1.5 rockers only! Furthest forward spark plug in line with upper ball joint. Any cast gm intake no high rise. EGR may be removed and a plate installed. Use 1 adapter plate to mount 500 CFM 2bbl Holley carb only. OEM stock stroke crank shaft only. OEM length connecting rods only. Pistons: flat top or dish only; No dome tops permitted. OEM type ignition systems only. OEM cast iron exhaust manifolds are allowed. 2 ID exhaust pipe from manifold to exit behind the driver. Street-style in-chassis headers are permitted with max. 1-5/8 and a 3 collector/exhaust. Transmissions must be OEM type automatic or standard. Standard must have steel blow proof bell housing with an inspection hole in the bottom. OEM steel flywheels only. Minimum 10 single disc clutch. Automatics must have working torque converter with steel scatter shield. OEM rears, Ford 9 inch rear, or floaters permitted. Standard 5-bolt no wide pattern hubs. Rears must be locked. Cars must start and run under their own power. Cars must have working reverse. WEIGHT Minimum weight will be 3200 lbs. (with driver) after feature. WHEELS/TIRES : Steel 15 racing wheels only. 15 inch tires only. 27.5/8.0x15 max. on 7 or 8 rims only. NO BIGGER!! Recaps allowed. Any compound allowed. NO ALUMINMUM WHEELS!! NO WINTER TREADS!! Bead locks allowed on all four wheels. ROLLCAGE / SAFETY Please read and follow all Safety Rules and Regulations found in the section titled SAFETY RULES! OTHER Gas only; no alcohol. No driver controllable brake bias adjusters or shutoffs. Other than the requirements or exceptions listed elsewhere within the rules, the car and all

7 components MUST remain stock appearing. MINI STOCK RULES **RACEceivers Mandatory** Body: Car must be full body, aluminum or steel. Soft plastic nose and tail pieces permitted. Interior steel of aluminum permitted; highly recommend 16 gauge steel on drivers side floor. Interior must be closed to form safe firewall, front and rear. Chassis:No Convertibles or 2 seated sports cars. Must have a minimum of a 4 post cage securely welded to the unibody..095 Tubing Recommended Steering: Quick release highly recommended. Engine: Any 4 Cylinder Engine. NO TURBOCHARGED, SUPERCHARGED OR ROTARY Engines Fuel System:

8 Fuel Cell Highly Recommended!! Stock Tank must be securely mounted and have a solid skid plate. Recommend fully encased in a steel container with a minimum thickness of 20 gauge. All fuel lines and fittings must be leak proof. Technical inspector can reject any fuel cell mounting he deems unsafe. Tires/Wheels:13 16 stock steel, aluminum and Aftermarket Racing Wheels Permitted. Maximum wheel width seven inches (Measured inside of bead to inside of bead). Rim diameter must match right to left. Any D.O.T. Passenger car tire or Hoosier and American Racing tire permitted. 8 maximum width. No LT, tractor, snow, mud or studded tires allowed. Seat:All cars must be equipped with a safe racing seat, high back type recommended. Seat must be securely fastened (bolted or welded) to the roll cage and/or frame in six spots, with a minimum of six 3/8 bolts.four (4) on the bottom and two (2) on the seat back Window Screen:All cars must have a steel wind screen of substantial material with a maximum opening on individual holes at 1x 1 (minimum 16 gauge material) (no chicken wire or aluminum) and be reinforced by a minimum of three (3) steel bars connected to the roll cage on top and the dash support bar on the bottom (cold roll).screen must cover 1/2 windshield area left to right across the cage and from top of cage down to hood or cowl. Side window net is mandatory. Weight: 2500#
