Multi-turn actuators The ICON 2000 is an intelligent multi-turn actuator with advanced communications technology, data management and reliable operation. Rack & pinion actuators Compact hydraulic actuators suitable for high pressure applications and on/off or modulating heavy duty service. 11 ELECTRO-HYDRAULIC ACTUATORS GAS ACTUATORS Electro-hydraulic actuators use a self-contained power unit to operate and control the actuators allowing high torque, high speed or fail-safe action where only electric power supply is available. Smart electro-hydraulic actuators Electro-hydraulic actuators coupled with separate electronic control unit allows high level diagnostics, digital and analog control including all major serial bus protocols and wireless access via Bluetooth. Designed to use sweet or sour high pressure gas as power source for driving the actuators particularly used on pipeline valve applications. High torque, high pressure quarterturn actuators A high pressure scotch yoke actuator with separate hydraulic system suitable for heavy duty quarter-turn applications. 12 MONITORING AND CONTROLS The Westlock Controls range of innovative networking, monitoring and control products for process valves ensures you can optimize the performance of your plant, improving productivity and safety while reducing downtime and risk. Switch boxes & valve monitors Westlock and Biffi switch boxes and valve monitors provide accurate position indication for rotary and linear valves. Certified for both weatherproof and hazardous area applications a variety of aluminum, stainless steel and engineered resin switch boxes are available with a range of switches and sensors. Valve control monitors The range of Quantum valve control monitors combines the capability of valve monitoring and control of automation process valves with position sensors and solenoid coils integrated within housing. The single unit low power energy solenoid valves and enclosure are certified for weatherproof and hazardous locations. Positioners Providing modulating valve position control the Westlock range of valve positioners offers pneumatic, analogue and digital units to deliver reliable and effective control for both rotary and linear action valves including a smart digital positioner compatible with HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus and PROFIBUS PA. Sanitary position and control monitors The Westlock Pharma II provides position and control monitoring for rotary and linear sanitary diaphragm valves with network connectivity via DeviceNet and AS-Interface protocols. Compatible with all major valve manufacturers' products, they are certified either Non-incentive or Explosion proof. Valve network solutions Westlock Network Control Monitors use embedded control systems to automate valves and link field I/O to the host PLC or DCS. The network monitors communicate with a PLC, DCS or host computer via a gateway interface or scanner card having specific compatibility with the primary control network. Protocols supported include ASi, DeviceNet, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, PROFIBUS DP and ModBus. Wireless valve monitors The specially designed wireless valve position monitoring system from Westlock works with both manual and automated on/off valves and smoothly integrates with wider plant control systems. 13 NETWORK AND CONTROLS Network and controls systems are available to provide accurate control and monitoring of actuators, including remote PST and ESD initiation and installations with SIL3 requirements. Control panel An integral part of an automated valve system, control panels are available for local or remote control of on/off or modulating actuators via electric or pneumatic signals. These electromechanical control systems can include devices for automatic operation or stay put in case of emergency (electric or pneumatic supply failure, high temperature, low or high pipeline pressure etc.) Digital control transmitters Digital EPIC-2 is a second generation, transmitter-based intelligent device that provides the ultimate in functionality at a realistic cost. Its state-of-the-art diagnostic functions include automated and remote PST, ESD initiation. Configuration and monitoring is via a local interface; a full array of HART interfaces and features including profiling of valve and actuator health monitoring and solenoid valve testing are now available. Integrated valve monitoring system Biffi IMVS Integrated Valve Monitoring System for high or low pressure applications is designed to provide extensive valve and actuator performance monitoring with safety enhancing features such as automated Partial Stroke Testing (PST) power supply and position monitoring, and on-line diagnostic capability.
