2 PA IILO & Garden Lighting System The new PATILO & garden lighting system features energy-efficient led spotlights, uplights, bollard & wall lights, underwater lights, steplights and led deck lights, all interconnected with transformers, extension cables and installation accessories using a standard weatherproof connector plug for safe and easy garden lighting installation. Connections above ground can be made using the range of compatible Ip44 connecting cables and 3 or 5 way cable connectors. For ground burial or submersible locations, IP68 accessories provide the option of a completely waterproof installation. 6 Lunar IP68 spotlight 20w halogen or 3w led Individual spotlights or led spotlight kits Lunar is a budget-priced adjustable spotlight with a plastic body supplied without lamp for use with a replaceable Mr16 3w led or 20w halogen lamp. It has a 5m cable with IP44 & connector and a clip-on glare shield for lighting small focal points, or for use as an underwater spotlight in fountains and waterfalls. As mounting requirements vary widely, Lunar is supplied without a mount: the adjustable polycarbonate knuckle joint fits a range of mounting options to be ordered separately, including a ground spike, mounting base, extension pole and a tube bracket to allow mounting on fountain pipes. Clip-on colour filters, glare louvres and effects lenses may be fitted to the front of MR16 halogen lamps inside the spotlight for a variety of lighting effects. Hydrus is fitted with a 6m cable with IP44 & connector for easy installation with the minimum of tools using the the PATILO range of & transformers, connectors, extension cables and junction boxes. Clip-on honeycomb glare louvres, frosted or spread lens or colour filters can be fitted internally on the front of an MR16 halogen lamp. The PATILO & system caters for this with a unique system which allows standard IP44 connector cables to be used by providing a waterproof seal around the cable in specially designed IP68 accessories GLWJB Waterproof Junction Box allows 3 connecting cables or cables fitted to lights to be connected to one input cable from a transformer GLWCC Waterproof Cable Connector provides a direct means of joining 2 cables in line, typically one cable from a light to one cable from the transformer

15 & Wiring layouts The PATILO & garden lighting system is designed primarily for low-energy led (light emitting diode) light sources as high energy-efficiency allows the use of smaller 2 guage cables up to 0.75mm which are compatible with the standard IP44 2-pin connector to achieve a flexible lighting layout. There are limitations on the length of extension cable which may be used with higher power 18w led fittings when connecting multiple lights and especially if using halogen lamps in those lights which offer this option.
