3 RE 9 07/.05 MA and EM Bosch Rexroth AG /6 MA Manuel adjustment The manual control enables a stepless adjustment of displacement by turning the handwheel. The change of displacement can be monitored via the swivel angle indicator. The MA control features a lever to lock the handwheel and thereby the displacement during operation. In the standard version the handwheel is mounted on the side of the pump (looking on the shaft end), on the side of the high pressure port. Please consult us if mounting on the side is desired. If desired, additional mechanical stops, to limit the swivel angle can be mounted. (please state in clear text when ordering). 6 6/6 Bosch Rexroth AG MA and EM RE 9 07/.05 EM/ Electric motor adjustment An electric motor is used to change the pump displacement steplessly via a reducing gear and a ball-screw drive. Adjustment times may be chosen from the table on page 9. They are valid for standard motors 0/400 Volt and 50 Hz. The built on motors can also be operated at 60 Hz. The adjustment times are then reduced by approx. 0 %. For a programmed control sequence any intermediate displacements can be selected by means of built on limet switches (6). The EM features an additional potentiometer for a feedback of the actual swivel angle. The standard EM adjustment device is equipped with an overload coupling to protect the control motor. If desired, it is possible to include fixed stops for limiting the swivel angle (please state in clear text when ordering).

To do this, proceed as follows: Bring the pump to the desired swivel angle. Turn the appropriate cam disc adjustment screw till the limit switch actuates. 11 RE 9 07/.05 MA and EM Bosch Rexroth AG /6 Potentiometer on EM EM features a potentiometer to give a feedback signal of the actual swivel angle position: Wire potentiometer type 7 RA turn, free rotatable, with a nominal resistance of 5kΩ. Standard setting: measured value between wiper and center tapping = 0 Ω Deviating settings can be accomlished by turning the gear below the potentiometer. This gear is conneted with the drive shaft via a safety coupling. The fine adjustment of the potentiometer is accomplished with the adjustment screw on the coupling between potentiometer and gear. 16 6/6 Bosch Rexroth AG MA and EM RE 9 07/.05 General notes The adjustment devices MA and EM were designed for the respective pumps as follows: open circuit (A4VSO) or closed circuit (A4VSG, A4CSG). Project planning, assembly, and startup of the pumps require the involvement of trained personnel. The working and functional ports are only designed to accommodate hydraulic piping. Tightening torques: The tightening torques specified in this data sheet are maximum values and may not be exceeded (maximum values for screw thread). Manufacturer specifications for the max. permissible tightening torques of the used fittings must be observed! For DIN fastening screws we recommend checking the tightening torque individually according to VDI 0 Edition 00. The housing temperature rises during and shortly after operation. Take suitable safety precautions (e.g. wear protective clothing). The data and information contained herein must be adhered to.
