2 DEMU(Diesel-Electric Multiple Unit) Overview and Characteristics The train is operated with traction motors driven by electricity which is generated by Diesel engine and Generator without external electric power supply. Easy inspection and reduction of maintenance cost through adopting the train monitoring system.
