1 Heritage Classic (HC) Level 1 (Full Preparation) Vehicles Induction System Carburetors 1. The stock carburetor(s) may be used without modification. 2. Carburetor(s) may be replaced. Use of carburetor(s) which is/are not specifically listed for a car these listgs and which does not comply with the limits of paragraph 3 here will crease mimum weight by 10%. 3. Non stock carburetor(s) This cludes modified stock carburetors. a) Shall corporate a butterfly type throttle plate for enge speed control. b) Float(s) shall not be removed or altered to produce (a) float less carburetor(s). c) Where Weber or Weber type carburetor are specified and used, they shall reta their standard configurations of fuel distribution. This is to prohibit annular discharge carburetors. d) Where Weber carburetors are specified here, Weber type carburetors may be substituted. The followg are examples of approved Weber type carburetors: Weber, Solex, SK, Mikuni, and Dell Orto. e) When a maximum size carburetor or venturi is listed, any size carburetor(s) or venturi(s) up to the maximum size is allowed. f) Unless specified here, there is no limitation to the number of carburetors. g) Where the number of carburetors is specified here, that number is the maximum. Induction System Fuel Injection 1. Non standard fuel jection, or standard fuel jection modified beyond the limits stated here is prohibited. 2. All vehicles origally equipped with fuel jection are permitted to use the stock system, or a modified jection system, without a weight penalty, subject to the followg: a) Cars utilizg fuel jection under this allowance shall use the factory manifold and throttle body. b) Throttle body bore size shall rema stock. c) Manifold and throttle body may be ported and/or polished. The manifold may be cut apart to facilitate this work. When such a disassembly is re welded, the external dimensions of the manifold shall rema unchanged. d) The number of jectors shall rema the same as stock and relative mountg position and jection pot shall be unchanged. e) The fuel jection is unrestricted except the origal type (electrical, mechanical, etc.) shall be mataed. f) External throttle lkage to the standard fuel jection may be modified or changed. g) Non origal fuel jection shall corporate a butterfly type throttle plate for enge speed control. The use of a slide throttle on a non stock fuel jection system is prohibited. h) Use of a fuel jection system which is not specifically listed for a car Appendix A and which does not comply with the above requirements is prohibited. Maximum valve size is standard if not listed below. There is no mimum track requirement for HC; Section HC.8.B.5 does not apply. 3/19/2015 HC 16

The goal is for these cars to be less expensive and easier to prepare but allow them to be fully competitive with the cars Heritage Classic (HC).
