The tour starts in Bilbao where you can look forward to, among other things, a visit to the Guggenheim Museum. On the following days, you conquer the Basque Country in your Porsche and, in addition to other sights, pass the picturesque hills of the renowned Rioja wine-growing region. You stay overnight at wonderfully situated properties and the selected restaurants captivate you with local specialities. On your penultimate day of driving, you head into France before making your way back to Bilbao along the coast on the tour s final day. The starting point of the Porsche Travel Experience Swiss Alps is an hour northwest of Milan. More precisely, at the Villa Crespi, located on the wonderful Lake Orta. What can you look forward to next? Four days of driving and pure adrenaline that take you high up into the mountains: over the Nufenen Pass, Switzerland s highest mountain pass, and to the country s most famous skiing areas. Your first destination: The Chedi Andermatt hotel, your residence for the next two nights. The following driving days see you tackle numerous curves and bends on the challenging mountain passes. What could be better than putting your Porsche through its paces? The route takes you over the Susten Pass, through the spectacular landscapes of the Rhine Gorge and to exclusive Alpine towns such as St. Moritz. Concluding the tour, you once again reach the place where it began, at the stylish setting to enjoy a relaxed end to this fantastic trip. 6 7 Days Iceland An Island of Fire and Ice Iceland Europe s second largest island nation offers spectacular landscapes, fascinating natural events and impressive attractions. Experience it for yourself from behind the wheel of a Porsche 911. You will start your Porsche Travel Experience Iceland in Reykjavík at the Harpa concert hall, where you prepare for typical Icelandic specialities during a humorous performance by a local artist. With a view of the harbour, you enjoy your dinner at the Kolabrautin Ristorante, one of the capital s finest restaurants. You leave Reykjavík behind the following morning and drive your Porsche through vast lava fields to the island s south coast. After a brief insight in the use of geothermal energy, you reach the day s driving highlight the Nesjavellir route to Thingvellir, one of the most challenging tests of the Icelandic Rally Championship. A geologist accompanies you at the national park, before you continue to the Eldar Lodge where you enjoy unique accommodation for two nights. The following day revolves around Iceland s natural wonders. You discover the glacier and volcano landscape in the country s highlands: the Geysir geothermal region, the Gullfoss waterfalls and the Langjökull glacier. Another day of varied driving awaits you. You travel from the country s western edge to its craggy north, almost to the Arctic Circle. The day s destination is the small picturesque fishing town Siglufjörður, which was one of Iceland s most populous settlements around the year 1900 a seemingly endless stream of herring led to a gold-rush-like boom. Set out on a journey with us back to this golden age. On day six, you are picked up at the hotel by speedboat for an experience unlike any other: a whale watching tour. You then embark on the final drive of your trip to Akureyri. From here, you travel by chartered flight back to Reykjavík over the Icelandic highlands.
