3 METALUXE TM Tiles have passed strict ceramic tile tests, performed by CSIRO in Australia. These tiles can be used for interior and exterior applications and can withstand freeze and thaw conditions, will not chip nor flake or peel from the porcelain substrate. The use of Durastone porcelain tile as substrate, allows the METALUXE TM tiles to be easily diamond saw cut and fixed as any other standard porcelain tile. Installation Metaluxe tiles should be installed only by an Approved Applicator or qualified tiler following strict instruction: Cutting Metaluxe tiles To cut Metaluxe tiles we strongly recommend the

Each tile has been coated with a unique liquefied compound of real metal powder exclusively developed and manufactured for Everstone by leading Australian company. A durable clear protective top layer prevents the Metaluxe metal surface from oxidation on interior and exterior applications. EN-ISO standard assessments on the final products have been carried out by CSIRO (Australia) in line with international ceramic standard requirements. Installation Metaluxe tiles should be installed only by an Approved Applicator or qualified tiler following strict instruction: Cutting Metaluxe tiles To cut Metaluxe tiles we strongly recommend the use of diamond blade on a wet tile cutting saw. After cutting, always dry and clean the cut edge to avoid oxidation or water stains. For best result, after drying and cleaning, we recommend to coat the exposed cut edge with a coat of protective clear (see below Touch Up Kit) and allow at least one hour to dry before installation. This will protect and stop the exposed metal from oxidation in the long run. Type of Joint To prevent damaging the tile surface, the use of non-sanded grout is highly recommended. If silicon is used, always protect the tile surface with an easy removable painter s tape. The joint should not be filled until tile adhesive cured. Care must be taken in quickly removing the excessive grout from the tiles surface by using a soft sponge and clean water, rinsing the sponge frequently to avoid abrasion marks. Finally, a dry soft cloth should be used to wipe any water residues from the tiles. Cleaning while Installing Always keep tiles clean. During installation, if tile adhesive, grout or silicone is noticed on the surface of the tile, this must be removed immediately. Do not wait till job is complete or grouting product cured. Maintenance Maintaining Metaluxe tiles Cleaning of Metaluxe tiles is easy. Clean with warm water and mild detergent only. Never use any solvents, thinners, caustics or powder cleansers. Damaged Metaluxe tiles can be repaired using the Metaluxe Touch Up Kit. This will prolong the life and the beauty of your tiles. Repairing of tiles Metaluxe tile surface is extremely durable but like many other decorative metal surface it can be scratched or damaged. A Touch Up Kit is available for in place repairs.
