And welcome to I hope to run this at least once a week. I hope to bring you the N gauge modeller all the breaking news of the week from the world of N gauge model railways. Dapol have announced the release of their new N gauge steam locomotive. The LBSCR Terrier tank will be launched at the British Railway Modelling exhibition at London s Alexandra Palace on Saturday 28 th & Sunday 29 th March Four versions will be released. They are. 1. ND-100A Boxhill in London Brighton & South coast Lined Stroudly Green. Livery Light Stroudley green with black & white lining with yellow lettering. These small but powerfull little tank engines where built to haul commuter trains out to the London suburbs from Victoria & London bridge. There names being places served by the LBSCR. Period 2/3 2. There are a number of these locomotives preserved in the south of England. I believe Boxhill is in York Railway museum Stepney is preserved on the Bluebell. Farish by Bachmann tonne BRA steel as arrived. Livery dark brown body with mixed coloured lettering for EWS in yellow. These wagons where built in York at the old carriage works by Thrall Europa. The real wagons run in block rakes using buckeye couplers between all wagons and the locomotive. The buckeyes are stowable to allow them to run with non buckeye coupled locomotives EG: class60, Period 9. NR-P175A/B/C Peco Wonderfull wagons latest release is for a 10ft wheelbase tank wagon. Livery plain black body with white lettering for Briggs of Dundee. 3 running numbers available. Period hard to diffine probably suitable for periods 4/5. NR-P135A/B/C Peco Wonderful wagons latest box van release is a 10ft wheelbase van. Livery weathered body with black BPCM lettering. British Portland Cement Manufacturing. Following the success of the Burlington Routes pioneer Zephyr. They are pleased announce the release of the Union Pacific M10000 articulated streamliner diesel train.
