2 Servicing The Sale Ground All main machinery has been regularly serviced by a New Holland dealership. Heading South on the A1 approximately 8 miles South of Markham Moor junction, take the exit for Carlton on Trent. Cross over the A1 on the B1164, following signs for Ossington. After approximately ¼ mile turn left (south) signposted Norwell where after approximately 1 ½ miles the sale may be found on the left hand side. Heading North on the A1 approximately 5 miles North of Newark, take the exit for Cromwell and proceed up Main Street before taking the first left turning onto Norwell Lane signed Norwell. Continue along Norwell Lane for approximately 1.7 miles. On entering Norwell, take the first right by the village hall and follow that road North for approximately 0.7 miles. The sale ground will be found on the right hand side. To the Sale signs will be posted on the Sale Day. For those using Sat Navs, the postcode does take you directly to the farm. Car Parking Buyer s Slips Payment Terms Allocated car and lorry parking will be sign posted. Parking is limited and therefore early arrival at the sale ground is recommended. Limited loading facilities may be available on the sale day. All potential purchasers are required to register at the Pay Office where they will complete a Buyer s Slip and obtain a Buyer s Number, thus enabling them to take part in the Sale. a) All lots must be paid for on the sale day. b) Strictly Cash of Banker s Draft. Cheques are only accepted by prior arrangement with the Auctioneers and or accompanied by a letter from the purchaser s bank stating the amount up to which the cheque will be honoured. c) No lots will be allowed off the sale site unless accompanied by a receipted invoice and/or cheques are cleared.

3 Buyer s Premium VAT There is no Buyer s Premium VAT (where applicable) will be payable in addition to the purchase price at the standard rate applicable on the day. Note: Any items being exported will be liable to pay VAT in full until proof of export has been received. On receipt of a stamped export license, the VAT will be refunded into the buyer s bank account. Clearance of Lots All small lots should be cleared on the day of the sale with the proviso they are paid for. Larger lots must be cleared from the sale by 5pm on Thursday, 2 nd December In order to facilitate immediate clearance it is recommended that successful purchasers bring to the pay office, or make prior arrangement with Fisher German accounts staff, for banker s reference support of cheques or to bring letters of credit or banker s draft to the sale ground. No lots will be allowed off the sale ground unless cleared funds. The Auctioneers and Vendors will not accept any responsibility or liability for the loss or damage of any lots left on the sale ground and all purchasers are reminded they are entirely responsible for any lot purchased at the fall of the hammer and must have appropriate insurance cover. Any loading assistance provided is entirely at the risk of the purchaser and neither the vendors, their agent, employees or loading contractors accept any liability for any loss or damage occurring during any loading process.
