3 General Information The agricultural loader market has become far more sophisticated over the last 10 years. The main developments are the use of load-sensing pumps on larger tractors, the introduction of more advanced valves that offer very low spool leakage for load-holding operations, and the integration of electrical proportional valves that can offer a number of control options that were not previously possible with earlier hydraulic systems. Nimco Controls has been at the forefront of this evolution. The company has introduced a number of solutions and has been instrumental in bringing the market to its present technical level, by constantly offering a full state-of-the-art range of open-centre and load-sensing valves covering all tractor and loader sizes. Complete control. One of the most critical factors for any loader operator today is absolute control of the load at all times. This is made easier by the use of well-designed valves that include load-holding check valves and turned spools which not only allow the operator to have absolute control of the load at all times for safety reasons, but also give him the ability to keep the load steady without cylinder drift. The float position is a necessity for most loaders. As it is not feasible to use traditional over-centre valves in combination with the float position, it is necessary to achieve very low spool leakage in the directional control valve to obtain minimum cylinder drift. Nimco has solved this problem by offering valves with exceptionally low spool leakage rates, which is the combined result of continuous improvement in the design of the valve itself and the finished spool bore through highly specific spool bore finishing methods. Start position Nimco Valve Conventional valve (Comparison of a Nimco low-leakage (2cc/min) valve with competitive model (8cc/min) on a parked loader, over 10 minutes with a 100 bar load and a 46 cst viscosity. Nimco Controls offers its customers a leakage rate which is below 2cm3/min on all of its loader valves, which translates to only 0.4mm per minute cylinder drift. A conventional valve would have 13mm in cylinder drift over a 10-minute period, while a Nimco valve would have only 4mm. Considering the geometry of the loader, this has a big effect on where the load ends up over this period of time. This has proved particularly useful when the agricultural loader is being used for precise work such as pallet stacking or animal and goods transporting.

4 Compact Size Loader Valves CV112 With a maximum flow rate of 50 l/min, the CV 112 loader valve is an option for smaller loaders mounted on tractors. It has proven very popular as it can be equipped with a variety of spools including float and regen, and can be fitted with a direct-acting joystick as well as cable control options. As mentioned earlier, the CV 112 valve is offered in a load-sensing version. mechanical joystick EHP control enclosed hand lever The CV 112 can be operated both in loaders with either open Center systems or LS systems depending on its build configuration. This Special Loader Valve offers the loader builder a number of key features to enhance the loader performance such as : Exceptional Low Spool leakage rates (less than 2 cc/min or inch3/min). 5 Compact & medium Size Loader Valves CV152 With a flow rate of 70 l/min the CV152 is perfeclty suitable for the compact and mid-size loaders. it is a two-spool monoblock valve designed to be used in open center, load sensing or constant pressure hydraulic systems. The valve can also be serial connected to another valve by using a high pressure carry over adaptor (Power Beyond Sleeve). 6 Medium Size Loader Valves CV432 The CV432 open center valve is a parallel circuit valve which is designed to operate in open center hydraulic systems up to pressures of 320 bar (4600 psi) and flow rates of up to 80 l/min (21 USG pm) The version LS of the CV432 is designed to operate with a variable pump and in closed center system up to a pressure of 320 bar (4600 psi) and flow rates up to 80 (21 USGpm). CV432 OC CV432 LS The CV430 valve offers a wide selection spools for optimal spool control of any load, as well as a wide range of spool controls for different applications. 7 Medium & Large Size Loader Valves CV452 The CV452 is a modular 2-spool monoblock valve, existing in three model designs, open center, constant pressure and load-sensing. The open center and constant pressure designs can be serial connected to achieve additional spool functions by using a high pressure carry-over fitting. The valve is designed for a maximum working pressure of 320 bar (4600 psi) with a recommended flow from 15 to 110 l/min (4-29 USGpm). Designed with the machine builders high demands of quality, cost effectiveness, function and need of exceptionally good load maneuverability in mind, it is particularly suitable for use on modern agricultural equipment. The uniquely designed valve body casting results in exceptionally low pressure drops leading to improved performance and longer life not only of the control valve but also of the other components in the hydraulic system. The CV452 is manufactured using the highest quality cast iron which in combination with our advanced machining and control methods assures the precise accuracy of every component. 8 Selector Valves SVL The SVL compact valves are designed to be assembled on the cross beam of an agricultural loader to combine standard and auxiliary functions of several valves. It improves load visibility of the tractor operator, and enables savings on couplings and installation time. 9 Selector Valves SVB The SVB O3 and SVB 04 stackable 6 port/2 way change over valves are designed to be used when extra circuits are to be operated from one control lever on machines such as fork lift trucks, agricultural front end loader, telescopic handlers, and in transmission circuits. The SVB can be stacked up to 3 valves allowing for the diverting of flow 2, 3 or 4 directions depending on the combination chosen.

10 Cable Controls WK300 The WK 300 is a new generation cable control joystick designed to meet today s machine operators requirement : ergonomic design, low operating efforts and long life. The joystick design allows the hand lever, via its base plate, to operate directly on to the cable and thereby avoid any loss of stroke as with other conventional cable controls. This, in combination with low friction cables and low spring forces in the valve, allows the operator to utilize the entire lever stroke when operating the spool and thereby enhancing load control and safety. 11 Quick coupler Attachment Units The CV152 and CV 452 valves can be fitted with the Nimco s QDC fastconnect coupling system which allows for the quick coupling of all the hoses to the loader from the tractor in a single movement. With a maximum flow rate of 45 l/min. The multi-coupling has been created for connecting and disconnecting several hydraulic hoses. This is done by an operating lever the guide crank of which is designed for a minimum of operating force. The connection of the hydraulic lines is done with flat face couplings. It is possible by special seals to couple against trapped pressure using the Nimco multi-coupling system. The multi-coupling can also be delivered with a variety of electrical connectors. The main features of the multi coupling are: safety against commutability of hydraulic lines, quick connecting, coupling against trapped pressure and minimized leakage during coupling process.
