6 Our Oil Water Separator is a simple, low-cost device designed for the removal of non-emulsified oil from water. Contaminated water is purified by a replaceable filtration media. Simply pour oilcontaminated water into the unit and oil-free water will flow from the discharge holes in the bottom. The filter can be supported by a 5-gallon bucket or positioned directly over a drain to collect treated water. For more demanding applications, stack two or three units together. The first unit acts as a rough pre-filter, while the subsequent filters insure an oil-free effluent. The last unit can also be filled with activated carbon for removal of organic contaminants.
