The JCB Midi CX is purpose designed as a backhoe oader. So, ike the rest of our word-beating BHL range, it features an integrated chassis that s designed to withstand construction site duty cyces. This makes it much stronger, more durabe and a better onger-term investment, especiay when faced with the rigours of the renta market. This brand-new machine features a fuy gazed, spacious cab with easy access, a simpe, ergonomic instrumentation ayout, and consoe-mounted forward and reverse contro. Poweredbya4-cyinder50hp(37.3kW)engine,theMidiCXhasadig depth of 3048mm (10 feet). The driveine features heavy-duty JCB axes with imited sip differentias on the rear axe, and four-whee drive is standard to cope with tough terrain. The machine can trave quicky around and between sites for maximum productivity, and for onger distances it canbetransportedona7.5-tonnepanttruck. At the oader end of the Midi CX a ow-eve, singe-piece bonnet gives cass-eading visibiity. There are aso powerfu breakout forces, an antispi mechanism to retain the oad when raising the oader and auxiiary hydrauicsfora6-in-1shoveandotherattachments. Meanwhie, the excavator design is based on a 2CX and uses twin sew rams, providing exceent backfiing and gradient performance. The excavator auxiiary circuit is compatibe with both singe and bi-directiona attachments such as hammers and earth dris, servo contros give fingertip contro, and a narrow boom and dipper again mean that visibiity is exceent.

But now comes the reay cever bit. Detach the backhoe one person can do it in just a few minutes and you have what is essentiay a tractor, with a category 1, 3-point inkage and 540rpm PTO drive. This combination aows you to use a vast range of rear-mounted attachments, adapting the Midi CX for appications ranging from park maintenance to hedge trimming, and doing the work of a number of different machines incuding mini excavators, compact oaders and compact tractors. The transmission comes compete with a creep speed function. This aows you to set the machine s trave speed independenty of the PTO speed, a crucia function when powering attachments such as mowers and hedge cutters. To enhance versatiity even further, the front oader features a mechanica, skid steer-compatibe quickhitch as standard, providing fast changeover of attachments for andscaping and industria work. The excavator is aso compatibe with most 2CX attachments. Another key difference on this machine is its ease of use, vita for markets where operators may not be fuy conversant with standard backhoe oader contros. The servo contros and the hydrostatic transmission make it simpe to operate: unike traditiona tractors, which require manua gear changing, the Midi CX has a two-position switch (ow speed for site operation work and high speed for roading). And the directiona contro is operated by a coumn-mounted seector ever, just ike the arger JCB BHLs.
