13 Common Questions & Answers Do I have to be an equipment dealer to consign? No. If you have equipment you would like to sell that you use in your day to day business, this service is available to you. Can I consign equipment other than the brand that my company sells? Yes. If you have products from other manufacturers which you have taken in on trade or used for research and development, this auction is an excellent opportunity to sell such items. Will the buyers know where the equipment is being consigned from? No. Individual sellers names will not be disclosed unless requested by the sellers. Do I have to warranty what I sell? No. Everything sells as is, where is, however, it is always a good idea to disclose known defects. Can I place a reserve on the item? Yes. The reserve set would need to be $ or greater per item, and in the event the reserve price is not met, a $ fee per item would be charged to the seller. If I consign an item to the auction and have it advertised, can I change my mind or sell it prior to the auction? Yes. However, items may not be withdrawn from the auction after they arrive on the auction site. Items are subject to prior sale and may be omitted, however, we ask, if possible, items that are omitted be replaced with similar items to help maintain the integrity of the auction. As a seller how soon do I get paid after the auction? Proceeds checks will be mailed no later than the 4th business day following the close of the auction. Who is responsible for removing items from the auction site? The buyers will be responsible for all rigging and trucking fees after the auction. How soon do I need to submit my items for advertising? The sooner, the better! A list of items and photos will be placed on our website and search engines as soon as they are received. Advertising is free to the seller (in most cases).
